Part 9 - Lost Control

I rushed to the cameras control panel to see what happened to everyone. I typed in the code 5 times before getting it right.

I was shot in the leg in collapsed then it seems like my kagune activated and

I unconsciously massacred everyone

I couldn't believe what I was seeing, I had to get out of here. I rushed to the door and went to my desk to get my bag.

"how was it?" Mable one of my coworkers and good friend asked

"good, but I have to leave now"

With that the panic alarm went off. And the building went into lock down. The doors closed with metal walls and the only thing I could do I jump out of the window. But I'd rather die by falling off a 20 story building than turn into a laboratorys test dummy.

I took my bag and bolted to the glass window and jumped through. I got scratched all over but nothing serious. While I was falling I saw a little girl with a woman walking in a park outside of a small house. They where laughing and having fun.

What was happening.. Oh, my life is flashing before my eyes, cool
A few seconds later and I landed on a roof of a car,well it was a car. I started running, not caring where I welt just to get far away as possible.

I ran for 2 minutes when I accidentally ran into something. It was kaneki!

"Kaneki, omg are you ok? I heard what happened to Anteiku is everybody Allright."..

"yeah where all fine, but what happened to you?"

"my work who I truly am, and shot me. When I woke up everybody was dead and It seems like I lost control and killed them all"

"that sounds horrible, you can come stay with us for the time being."

"thank you so much, I don't know I I could every repay you"
