Part 5 - Ghoul

Kaneki POV

She ordered a coffee, I made the coffee for her but before I could give it to her Yoshimura threw a anti ghoul pill in the drink. I was confused at first but I knew it wouldn't kill her.

Does Yoshimura think she's a Ghoul? But why, nobody else sespected it so why dit he. After she was finished I could see many different expressions in her eyes. Confusion, sadness, guilt and regret. I actually felt sorry for her. She asked to go to the bathroom, she was extremely pale. So that means she's a ghoul or a human that is allergic to some pills.

She ran out the bathroom to her back but realized she forgot something. Everyone was staring at her in confusion except Yoshimura. She was a... Half ghoul?! Soon after she blacked out.

"how did you know she was a ghoul?" I asked Yoshimura. "I just had a feeling about her" Yoshimura replied. "but she's not a full ghoul...?" touka said confused. "I've realized that when she entered. She was quiet and had medication in her bag" Yoshimura said calmly. "touka could you please take her to a room?" "sure" touka said confused while picking her up.

"you should probably be there when she wakes up, Kaneki" Yoshimura said. "of course, but why me?" I asked. "you both are half ghouls maybe you could talk to her. She seems to trust you." Yoshimura said while I followed touka.

1 hour later
Y/N POV

I woke up in a strange room. It was spacious enough to live in but I'd rather not. I looked to my right and saw kaneki sitting in a chair next to me, I jumped up on guard ready to attack when a girl with short purple hair jumped before kaneki. "it's OK, calm down." kaneki said with a worried but happy smile

"where am I?" I asked while sliding down the wall to the ground. "in one of the rooms behind Anteiku" kaneki said. "I'm touka, is it ok if we ask you some questions?" she asked calmly but still with her gaurd up
"umm, sure..." I replied hesitant. I didn't feel comfortable talking to her but for some reason I felt like I could trust kaneki, like we had some sort of connection.

"who sent you to Anteiku?" touka asked slowly. "the agency I work for" I replied hiding 15%of the truth in each answer. "is it the Commission of Counter Ghoul" agency? "kaneki asked. Not wanting to lie to him I said "yes" "why did they send you here?" touka asked. "because there where rumors that Anteiku was keeping ghouls." I said feeling like I could trust them. "do you have any questions? " kaneki asked.

I actually did, I could sence that touka was a ghoul but what was kaneki. "kaneki, what are you?" "oh" kaneki said seprised. "I'm only half ghoul." after he said that I felt my heart drop. A half ghoul... Like me?! Ive never met another half.
"just like you" touka said. "oh, I guess you know now too..." "does the agency know about you" touka asked confused. "no" I replied "I only work there because it pays well and I don't want to live on the Street. touka looked like she understood but I still didn't feel like I could let my guard down around her.

Some time later

I found out that kaneki wasn't born a ghoul but was turned into one by putting a ghouls organs into his body. Unlike me, kaneki wasn't born a ghoul... We did have one thing in common though, we both didn't like eating people.
