„Okay, I'm sure all of you have already figured out that there's a reason, why I called in this meeting so suddenly", Chanmin spoke, looking at us. „I have great news for you."

It has been about four months since our debut. It was rough, all the training and stuff, but it was also what I chose for myself and I was content with it.

When Chanmin suddenly called us in for a meeting, we were in the mittle of rehearsing the comeback song. Which also means, we're currently all pretty smashed, but that didn't stop our curiosity about the roots of this meeting.

Chanmin pulled out a Envelope, laying it onto the table in front of him, before pushing it in Sohees direction.

„You're the leader, you should open it", he insisted smiling at her.

Sohee looked a little bit nervous as she reached for the brown envelope. We looked at her with curiosity, waiting for the oldest to open it. Her Hands ripped the end gently to not damage the letter in it in the process.

She pulled a paper out and you could see that her hands were slightly shaking, as she went through the text. The further she read the more her eyes went wide.

„What is it? What does it say?", Jenoo couldn't hold herself back anymore. Sohee looked up at us with the biggest grin displaying on her face.

„We are nominated, Guys. As The best new girlgroup at the MAMAs!", she explained and we could only look at her dumbfounded. It was silent. Every single one of us held completely still. This is a joke, were my thoughts. There's just no fucking way.

„We are what now?", Sami asked in disbelieve.

„Nominated, we are nominated", Sohee repeated and it seemed that her smile grew wider if even possible.

As the information finally reached us, we jumped up, screeching happily. I hugged Yungcheon who stood beside me, crying out of pure happiness. I wiped the tears softly off of my friends face, as we both smiled.

Our Manager stood at the end of the table, watching us, as we celebrated the news. He looked kind of like a proud father, the his dyes lit up too.

„I'm so proud of you, girls", Chanmin spoke up. „All of you did a great job over the few past weeks. It's incredible to witness your development."

We turned to our manager, bowing at him in gratefulness. All of us couldn't quite believe what was going on, but it would be an understatement to say we were just happy. It was pure euphoria, as we went out of the building after Chanmin told us to do a VLive to announce the news to our fans and return to practice.

„Let's do the Live after dance practice", Herin suggested, while we got into the elevator to head to the studios. We agreed with her, knowing that our coaches were waiting for us.

The doors of the elevator closed and we all fell silent. My heart was still beating out of excitement over the news. I fiddled with my hands, waiting for the elevator to arrive at our destined floor.

The studios were all at the underground floors. It always gave me a weird feeling, but I know I had no reason to be nervous or anything similar. Maybe it was just my experiences that made me hypersensitive to these kind of things.

Or it was just in general, that I didn't like small spaces since some kid locked me into a janitors closet in middle school. Something like that probably.

We made our way to Studio three, as Chanmin said our coaches would be waiting there for us to arrive. You could hear chattering echo through the hallways, shortly before a group of boys smiling and laughing with each other walked around the corner.
