Sunghoons PoV

A mask and hat were hiding most of my face, helping me to stay unrecognized, as I made my way to the house only a few steps away from me. It was already dark outside, the sky almost clear, only a few clouds visible. The cold breeze was caressing my face and I was glad to wear a mask which kind of kept me warm.

My eyes went to my phone's display, checking the time once again; 06.54 PM. Luckily, I was just in time. My car was parked a little bit down the street for safety reasons. I walked up the stairs of the house quickly and rang the bell. A few seconds passed before the door was opened and the light from inside flooded down the dark street. Yungcheon stood at the door, welcoming me with a smile.

„Shiwoo still needs a moment, come in", the girl spoke quietly, stepping away, so I could enter.

I followed her offer and walked into the alluring warmth that their house provided. Yungcheon quickly closed the door, before turning to me again. „So, you're introducing Shiwoo to your parents?"

A smile formed on my lips at that thought. „Seems so."

„She's hella nervous", the girl informed me amused, making me let out a low chuckle.

„Yeah, I've noticed that earlier already." I stuffed my hands into the pockets of my coat, when I heard little faint steps coming down the stairs, before Shiwoo came into sight. She was dressed in a blue cocktail dress, which was reaching to her mid thigh and was accentuating her slim figure, hugging it tightly. Her dark hair was put up into a pretty, neat bun with only a few curly locks framing her face, complimenting her neck and features.

I couldn't take my eyes off of Shiwoo, as she walked down the stairs in her high heels. A warm tingling went through my body, when my girlfriend came to a halt right in front of me. Her lips stretched into a droopy smile, while looking up to me and directly into my eyes. I was unable forming even just a single word, awestruck by Shiwoo's beauty.

„Hi", my girlfriend greeted me sheepishly, batting her lashes at me. It took me a second to return her words, still in a trance.

„You look beautiful", were the first words that made their way past my lips. A blush painted my girlfriend's cheeks suddenly, as she seemed to avoid my gaze now. In my eyes Shiwoo looked even more beautiful like this. Her hands fiddled with the purse that she was holding.

I raised my hand and tilted her head upwards, forcing her to look at me and when I spoke, my voice was barely a whisper, only for Shiwoo to hear. „Don't get shy on me now, Love."

I chuckled lightly at her behavior. Oh, how lucky I could call myself, as I knew that she was mine to love and mine only. Holding her hand gently, we left the house cautiously after Shiwoo had put on a coat as well.

„My car is parked over there", I informed, pointing to the black vehicle, standing at the side of the road.

Shiwoo followed my steps and I held the door open for her, after we reached the mentioned car. It was subtly noticeable that the girl was nervous; still fiddling with her hands and playing with her rings. I reached out for my girlfriend, cupping her cold face with my hands, turning her head to look me in the eyes.

„I get that you're nervous, Love. I was, too, when I met your family. But there's no need to, they'll love you, just trust me", I comforted Shiwoo softly and she took a deep breath, nodding. Leaving a brief peck on her lips, as she flashed me a smile, I then pulled away to start the car.

„How long do we drive to your parents house?", Shiwoo asked, her gaze fixed on the darkness outside the window next to her.

„Oh, only about twenty minutes. They're in Seoul this weekend." I took one of her hands intertwining our fingers to provide her some warmth and comfort, while focusing on the road. „We have a residence here."
