JOKER ✗ AT PEACE

Checking your groceries before leaving the supermarket. As you were sure that it was complete you went directly back to your home. It was completely empty after all you live alone in  huge house.  Your parents became an infernal for some reasons. You let out a smile as you just sit down to your sofa. You stood up as you started to prepare yourself. You looked at the clock as you sigh.

You started to walk away, making your way to a certain place. It was unfamiliar for some people but for you it was the same place again and again. You opened the door as you went in.

"You seem to get bored again?"

"I do."

He was just looking to a small bottle with dust in it. You tilted your head as you saw Licht who were searching for something into his laptop. Suddenly he stood up and bowed his head.

"I got something else to do. Excuse me."

He left you and Joker alone. You took out a cigarette and lighten it with your finger. Joker seemed to be unplease with you smoking as he took the cigarette. You stood up as your held his cheeks. He opened his mouth as you blow the smoke out to his mouth. You took the cigarette again.

"(Y/N) stop smoking."

Once again you blow smoke out of his face this time. He looked at you seriously. You were about to blow out smoke to his lips as he pressed his lips against yours. When your lips parted ways you were about to smoke again as he took it and threw it.

"I said stop."

"You're no fun."

You sighed as you looked up at him. He just looked at your seriously as he asked.

"Why are you here anyways?"

"Because I want to."

He seemed to be unpleased with your answer as he flick your forehead. You just let out a hiss as you looked down.

"I feel lonely if I will stay in the house. It was empty unlike before my parents was always there to welcome me home."

His eyes widen as he tried to sink in your words. He let out a smile as he pushed you outside.

"Go home."

As he closed the door you felt like you were abandoned. You went directly back to your house as you started to cook. When you hear a swift of a cover. You looked at the living room and saw Joker lying down to your couch with blanket.

"Uh excuse me?"

"You feel lonely right? I'll stay here then."

"What the-"

"Don't be shy join me."

You threw a knife above his head as he let out a smile. He stood up as he hugged you tightly. Kissing the top of your head as started to stroke your hair with his fingers. Holding few strands of it as he smells.

"I don't want you to feel lonely (Y/N). I just want to remind you that I'm with you always."

You let out a smile as you hugged him back. His scent makes you feel calm, his husky voice makes you feel sleepy as if it was dragging you down to a deep slumber of sleep, his heartbeat were fast as if it was racing to your heartbeat. You love every inch in his body even his doings. Everyone seemed to see him as a wanted man but for you he was just a normal person who wants justice and to know the truth behind the masked future.

"(Y/N) whenever I'm with you. You always makes me feel at peace."

"As you do the same thing to me."

You hugged him as you held your hand where you wear your engagement ring to a certain person. He kissed your lips passionately as you let out a giggle.

"I love you (Y/N)."

"I love you too."

You were engaged to a man, a man who were wanted to the other's eyes. But for you, you were engaged to a man who makes you feel at peace in this world full of crisis.
