A Cute Little Date

I needed to destress a little, so why not give you guys a cute YuMark date chapter?

Yuta finally had a moment to think. Mark was taking a shower to cool off after a particularly intense practice session. Yuta wasn't there, as he and Kun had a meeting. It wasn't the most important thing, but he knew Mark was excited to practice, so instead of dragging him to the meeting he let him go to the training room. (He had practically attacked Xiaojun and Hendery after they said they would spar with him). After the three had sparred, and Yuta and Kun finished their meeting, Mark was exceedingly clingy. Yuta wasn't complaining, he loved it when Mark was clingy, but he really needed a moment to think over something.

That something being a date.

Him and Mark hadn't been on a date since their trip to Japan, it had been a month since then. But even when they got back to Seoul, they hadn't gone on a date. Yuta was excited to take his adorable boyfriend on a date, even more so since he's able to see things.

"What are you thinking so intensely about?" Mark climbed on top of Yuta, wrapping his arms around his neck. "You're in the same position I left you in. Laying on your back on the bed, staring up at the ceiling." Mark couldn't help but giggle.

"Sorry baby I was thinking," Yuta brushed his hands through Mark's messy, wet, pink hair.

Mark leaned into Yuta's touch. "What about? Your meeting with Kun?"

"No," Yuta let out a small chuckle. "I was thinking about taking you on a date."

"A date? What kind of date?"

"It's a surprise."

Mark perked up. "A surprise?"

"Yeah, a surprise. Let me get up and we can go."

"Okay!" Mark rolled off Yuta and onto his side of the bed.  "I'm going on a date with my super cool, gang boss, boyfriend Yuta!"

Yuta burst into laughter. "Yeah well, I'm going on a date with my super cute, badass, boyfriend Mark!"

"On a scale of one to ten, how cute am I?"

"Lemme think." Yuta smiled wide before wrapping Mark in a tight hug. "One million."

"One million? That's way off the scale."

"I know, but you're my cute baby."

"What about Lion? He's cute, and our baby too."

"He can be one point below you."

Mark threw his head back in laughter. "One point below me?"

"Of course. No one beats my baby boy."

"Okay, okay. I'm the cutest."

"Glad you can admit it. Now, let's go on our date!"

Yuta decided the best place to go for their date was the park. Mark loved it, of course, the fresh air and the ability to see extra well from the bright sunlight. But he also enjoyed it because he felt like a kid again.

And what more to make him feel like a kid than to play with the kids.

They were walking around hand in hand, until Mark spotted the park. He stopped walking and just stood there, watching the little kids run around in joyous fun. After a minute, he seemingly made up his mind, and ran over to play with the kids.

He chased them around, helped them across the monkey bars, played hide and seek with them, and pushed them on the swings.

"Is that your brother?"

Yuta looked next to him. A nice lady had sat next to him on the bench. "No he's my boyfriend."

The lady let out a chuckle. "I apologize. He's just so playful, he seems like he's a young child."

"He is." Yuta stared at Mark in adoration. "He didn't have the best childhood, but since we started dating he's came out of his shell. He's a child sometimes, but he's also such a sweet person."

"If you don't mind me asking, how long have you two been together?"

Yuta sat in thought for a moment. "We started dating in July, and it's April... almost a year."

The lady patted her hand on Yuta's knee and smiled. "I can tell you love him a lot, I hope you get married one day. And after you get married, you better give him children."

Yuta choked on air. He hadn't thought about kids that extensively. But seeing Mark running around and playing with them, (being a hundred times cuter), he knew he had to give that gift to his love. "Maybe one day."

"I hope you see that through. Well, I'll get going now. I don't want to ruin your date."

Yuta was about to question the nice lady, when he was suddenly knocked to the ground. Mark was straddling him, laughing.

"Yuta! I'm hungry!"

"Okay, okay!" Yuta couldn't help but laugh as well. "You wanna go to that cafe? The one we go to with YangTen and JaeYong all the time?"

Mark hummed in thought, before nodding his head rapidly. "Yeah! Let's go! Let's go!"

Yuta watched as Mark devoured his food. He did have a large breakfast before going to the warehouse, but he didn't get to eat anything before heading to the park.

"What?" Mark swallowed down his food. "You're staring. Do I have food on my face?"

"No, I'm just observing how adorable you are."

Mark covered his face with his hands to hide the blush that spread over his cheeks. "No I'm not."

"Mark Lee. You are the most adorable person ever. Don't you deny it."

"Fine, fine. I'm adorable. Happy now?"

"Definitely."

After their nice dinner, Yuta decided to take Mark stargazing. They didn't want to go too far, so they settled for the open plains just outside of Seoul. It was nice and quiet, the cool spring air leaving a slight chill.

Mark was in awe staring at the stars. There were so many, all of them shining their own light.

Yuta in the other hand, was busy staring at Mark. He was so helplessly in love. He loved everything about Mark; the way he smiled, his inability to wink, his childish personality, the way he panicked every time Yuta was affectionate with him in public, everything.

Mark was everything Yuta could ever want.

They returned home that night happy, and even more in love than they were. Because they fell more and more in love every single day, and that's the way it'll stay.

A/N: hi! So I wanted to distress a little, aka there's been so many people bugging me (not y'all but my family) so I wanted to chill. But I didn't really feel like working on the main plot of the story, so I was like: "I'll make a cute date chapter" (ngl it sucks compared to what I usually write) writing heals my soul lol.
