One year later
After a year of almost complete calm-almost because a gang of twenty three brings quite a bit of chaos-Mark and Yuta's wedding day arrived.
They decided to do a more grandeur wedding compared to Jaehyun and Taeyong. Since it was a larger event, they waited longer.
But that wasn't the only reason they waited so long. Jaehyun and Taeyong had adopted a little girl, a sweet girl at the age of three-she was two when they adopted her-a brilliant little girl. A little girl by the name of Alex. Her full name was Alexandra, but she hated the name, "Dad, papa, that name is too long! I want to be called Alex!" Since they adopted her at the age of two, they wanted to wait until she was three and more cognitive.
Why? Because she's the flower girl.
The wedding itself took place in a field; the same field Yuta and Mark went to when they went stargazing. The field was filled with tall grass, and being the early summer it was all a ripe green.
For the reception, they set up beautiful oak picnic tables, each one able to fit about ten people. On each table was a jar, a jar filled with white roses, white lilacs, and white lily of the valleys; with a white bow wrapped around them. There were polls set up all over, white colored fairy lights wrapping around them, and stretching from poll to poll.
The wedding itself was just as simple. The had a beautiful arch of of grape vines filled with the same white flowers as their centerpieces. The white chairs were in a half circle type formation, making it so everyone can see the Mark and Yuta (Mark whined to Yuta about it, some of us are short and can't see! We need to make sure everyone can see!).
Tents were set up to cover the food, and also for bathrooms, changing rooms, and for whatever else they would need.
The most important thing that happened just before the wedding, though, was that Mark got his vision back. Fully. He gained back the ability to see colors, the ability to see him pink hair-he decided against dying it, he loved the pink hair-to see everything the world had to offer. His eyes weren't as sensitive to light that much anymore either, but his vision was still blurry, so he still had to use his glasses or contacts.
.........
Mark couldn't help but fiddle with his white suit jacket. For some reason, he was nervous. He didn't understand why though. Today was the day, the day him and Yuta weren't just boyfriends, weren't just fiancés anymore. They were going to be husbands, together until death do they part.
"Mark Lee stop fidgeting with your suit! I just adjusted that for you!" Taeyong, Mark's bro of honor (Johnny's words), slapped his hands away and fixed the jacket. "I don't know why you're so nervous. Yuta loves you more than anything."
"I don't know hyung," Mark sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "Maybe I'm just nervous because this is one of the biggest things in my life? Maybe I'm not even nervous about marrying Yuta. Maybe I'm nervous about tripping or looking dumb in front of everybody."
Ten sighed and smacked Mark's cheek (albeit lightly). "Mark Lee. You're not going to mess up. You'll be fine. Even if you do mess up, the only person who would laugh would probably be Johnny."
Taeyong rushed to shush Ten before he could say anything else. "And if anyone did laugh, Yuta would send them a look and they would stop immediately!"
Ten was about to say something else when Xiaojun stuck his head through the tent flap. "Guys five minutes."
Mark took a deep breath. He can do this. Yuta is waiting for him. He could hear the small cheers as Yuta walked to the alter.
