Chapter 33

Hook was conflicted. The only way they could leave here was if they'd kill the witch. But then he thought of Alice. Ever since she was born he'd given up the pirate life, including the killing. He didn't want to do it. But on the other hand, Robin was dying and even if he could manage to survive this, Alice would never forgive him. So instead of running away he had to take the hard path. He ran towards the witch with his sword in front of him, ignoring every part of him that told him not to kill. A moment later it was over.

Robin coughed heavily when she landed on the floor. She reached for her throat and stayed on the ground, wondering what would happen next. The witch was dead. Hook had killed her for Robin. She knew that. "Here" Hook said, reaching his hook for her. She took it and stood up. "Are you okay?" he asked worried. Robin nodded, still coughing. Then Hook went to Regina and Zelena to make sure they were okay as well. They were. "Now let's get the hell out of here" Hook said as he helped Robin get to the stairs.

It took them three days to reach the house. "Okay, we've got all the ingredients. How does this work?" Robin asked, laying everything on the table. "It's good that we're here" Zelena smiled at her sister. They knew how to make a potion of these ingredients. "It will take us a few hours. Why don't you guys visit Alice in the hospital" Regina said. That was a good plan. "See you tomorrow" Robin hugged her mother and then she left with Hook.

"She isn't here anymore" the doctor said after Robin and Hook had witnessed the empty hospital bed. "What do you mean she isn't here anymore? She was supposed to stay here till we got back" Hook said, trying not to get angry. "Look, she had her own plans and we couldn't stop her. She was healed and we have other patients too" the doctor explained. "Do you have any idea where she's gone?" Robin asked calmly. The doctor shook his head.

Walking outside, Hook said, "We need a plan. She could be anywhere. The worlds are reunited". He was right. Robin thought about the places she could have gone. "Let's check her trailer first and then places in Hyperion Heights where she loved to hang out"

"Like the troll!"

"Exactly" Robin led Hook to her trailer. "It makes me sad she lived like this for years" Hook sighed as he took a good look around. Robin agreed. "I wish I arrived sooner" she sighed. There was no trace of Alice here.

The next stop was the troll but it was already clear she wasn't here. Hook sighed. "We're never going to find her. She doesn't have a cellphone or an address" he said and leaned against the troll. Robin didn't know what to do either. It all seemed hopeless. Then a familiar face approached them. "I heard you were searching for Alice. She asked me directions to Storybrooke" she said out of breath. Hook glanced at Robin with a little hope in his eyes. "Thank you so much, Ella" he cheered as he gave her a hug. "Come on" Robin jumped into the air of excitement. She was finally getting her girl back. Then everything they had been through would be worth it. Smiling, they went to the police station to get Hook's car. There was no time to lose.
