Later that morning, the four sat around the kitchen table, eating scrambled eggs that were a bit too brown.
"So, Rose and me discovered something about that buzzing coming from the Telly." The Doctor pointed.
"Oh?" Jackie put down her fork as The Doctor told his story he told to Rose, about his dream and his ideas.
"But wait?" Pete announced, "the TARDIS and your planet, how would you get there?"
"Thats a good point..." He ran his hand roughly through his hair impatiently that made Rose tingle inside. She loved it when The Doctor went all weird.
"I think the buzzing has something to do with it. If we finally end up on some space ship, we could find a way to ask if Gallifrey is still around. Then, The Doctor could find someway to get us there and then, get a TARDIS." Rose explained before having a sip of tea.
"Thats not a bad idea... But, everything is just waiting and waiting. I'd like to get up there as soon as possible..." He tilted his head so he could see the Television. Sighing, he drank some more tea.
"Why not do that then, Doctor? Lets go solve this puzzle and then they would want us up there." Rose pushed up out of her chair and grabbed her phone from the counter, walking to the television.
The Doctor sat for a second, impressed by how much courage still held after resting that side of her dormant for so long. Then, he followed.
"Lets spin this puppy 'round!" He announced.
"Listen doctor, i don't even think we need to. The buzzing is a noise... Think of the five senses, sound is closer to seeing than any other sense. Visual and auditory are a team and studies show it."
"So, the Cybermen would be using the two together! Genius!" He shouted and Rose giggled, flopping down on the couch.
"Wait! This thing here." He pointed to the logo. "I have to get this off!" He crawled a little closer and started tearing it off. "If were right, behind here there will be a little switch..." He pulled it off, missing his sonic screwdriver but also lacked the ingredients to make another. And there it was, a little blue switch.
"No." Rose let out a small gasp.
"Oh yes... For the emotions. I knew it! These are alive! The Cybermen only know one kind of technology and that their week point!" Again, the Doctor was dancing around but then dropped to his knees. "But, everyone has a telly in their house and for most, multiple."
"My phone too, everyone has these in their houses and pockets." She looked like it as if it was the devil in her own hand.
"I have to flick the switch." He looked up to Rose. "We have to"
"But then they will find you and-"
"Isn't that what we want?" He stood up in confusion.
Rose let a sigh form from her lips. "Yes" she spoke.
"Good." He suddenly wrapped his hand around her waist and pulled her closer so he could reach the Telly switch. As it was flicked, a large red beam shone around them and in a second, they were gone, leaving Pete and Jackie with screaming electronics.
Rose wrapped her arms tight around The Doctors neck and The Doctor held on to her waist tightly, knowing that Rose with fall from space if he let go. Because he flicked the switch, they only really wanted him.
As the two crash landed on the space ships inside, their knees went weak and fell to the around like a bundle of books. Looking up, they were nothing less than right, Cybermen surrounded them in a red glowing ship.
