Chapter 2

Just a few moment later of standing together on the beach in Norway, Rose finally stopped crying. She leaned back from the Doctor and managed a weak smile.
"Come on." The Doctor spoke as he gripped Rose's warm and wet hand from whipping her tears. They walked over closer to Jackie who was perched on a rock trying to get a signal for her cell phone.
"Let me tall ya, bloody Norway! Of corse it had to be here!" She glanced down from her phone to see Rose and the Doctor just swaying in the wind.
She let off a weak smile like Rose's and jumped down from her walk. "Oh. Lets get this guy home!" She wrapped her arm around her daughter's shoulders and gave a comforting squeeze.

A day or two later, the team were once again back in London with their loss and sadness. Unpacking their bags, a memory of one particular conversation aroused in Rose's mind.
"Well, what actually happens around here in this world? I know what its like, sure, but i still haven't got a clue what your lives are like here...." The Doctor had said looking out of the window.
"Well, for one thing, we don't live in any apartment anymore, Rose and I..." Jackie twisted herself to look back at the Doctor and Rose in the back seat. "And, we have a fish named Squiggly too."
"Now i work in business, a new company named 'Wilfred Kings'. I'm the face of a lot of products, including mine. My newest creation is automatic fish feeder thats better than all the others!" Pete seemed exited about his work and talked about it often.
"It's really not" jackie whispered loudly to the Doctor.
"Oi! It is!" He defended but Jackie rolled her eyes and looked out the window again.
"What about you, Rose? What have you been up to?" The Doctor smiled at her with wide eyes that seemed to be filled with care.
"I... I umm..." She thought for a moment about what she has been doing for her time here but found nothing besides building that gun for her attack. "Well, i was preparing for that moment... To see you all again. And thats all i've been doing."
"I think i'd like to change that around!" He gave a big goofy grin to Rose that made her giggle a bit at his comedy.
