Shock

Evie's POV:

Hook steers the ship, so we are within eye view of the royal ship. 

"Alright Red, lets crash this party." Uma says. 

Using the powers she got from her mom, Uma carries us across the ocean, our outfits never once getting a drop of water. We land on the back of the boat, and sneak up to the stairs. 

"King Ben and Queen Mal!" the announcer says. 

We hide as Ben and Mal walk past us and down the stairs. 

"Ready?" I ask Uma. 

"Princess Red, and Princess Uma?" the announcer asks confused. 

Taking Uma's hand, we walk down the stairs. 

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" Ben yells. 

"E!" Carlos yells as he runs over to me. 

"Hey baby bro." I say hugging him. 

"Carlos get your ass back over here." Ben growls.

Carlos POV: (AHHH)

Hope flickered through me as I watch my sister walk down those stairs with Uma. I never hated Uma, in fact I was jealous of her. She got to be free of her mom, she got to be her. She has a whole pirate crew, food on the table. 

"E!" I yell running over to her. I missed her so much. 

"Hey baby bro." she says hugging me. 

I smile. I missed her calling me that. Auradon sucks since Evie left. Ben was rude, Mal power hungry, and Jay, well hes straight now. 

Flashback to the night after Evie left Aruadon:

I wake up with a headache and tear stained sheets. My eyes water up as I remember what happened. I still can't believe Evie was gone. I missed her so much. She made Auradon home. Yeah sure, I was with Jay, but he was hiding something from me, and I was falling out of love with him. He never took me on dates, wrote cute notes, gave me nose kisses and cuddles. I missed the old Jay, the Isle Jay. The Jay I fell in love with. Wiping my eyes, I got up out of bed, got dressed, and headed to breakfast. I was sitting alone, eating just a little, when Ben and Mal came over. 

"Carlos, I'm sorry." Mal says. 

"ITS YOUR FAULT! LEAVE ME ALONE!" I yell. 

"Carlos, listen to me." Ben demands hitting the table. "You either stop the poor me act, break up with Jay, and date Jane, or you can go back to your mother." 

"What?" I ask shocked. 

"Carlos, it's for your own good." Mal says. 

"MY OWN GOOD? WAS HURTING EVIE FOR HER OWN GOOD?" I ask. 

"Carlos, I swear, I will send you back to your mother." Ben threatens. 

"Fine, whatever, I'll do it. But one condition." I say. 

"You are in no condition to make demands." Ben says. 

"Try me beastie boy." I sneer. 

Mal holds Ben back. 

"What do you want Carlos?" Mal asks. 

"My old notebook from the Isle. The one thats blue with a paw print." I say. 

"That old thing?" Mal laughs, "done." 

I smile, secretly dying inside. It's funny how Mal was so quick to dismiss the fact I wanted a notebook from home. She knows I don't write. That was the notebook Evie gave me so we could talk. I get up and walk back to my dorm, right as Jay was waking up. 

"Jay," I say. 

"Carlos," He says at the same time. 

I laugh. "You first." 

"Carlos, I've been seeing Lonnie behind your back, and I'm sorry. I thought I loved you, but then I met her, and I knew what love really was. I am so sorry." He says. 

My eyes drop to the floor. I knew he was hiding something. 

"Its okay, I was going to end it anyway." I say sitting on my bed. 

End Flashback

After that night, I was forced to start seeing Jane. She was cute, at first I saw her as a friend, but I'm slowly falling in love. 

"Carlos get your ass back over here." Ben growls.

"No." I say shocking myself with my new found confidence. 

"My sister is here for one reason, she has a story, and you are going to shut your royal mouths and listen." I announce to everyone.

Back to Evies POV:

"Thank you Carlos. Everyone listen, your "perfect" king, is actually a homophobic asshole."
