I put the finishing touches on, and sigh. I knew in this moment, I was going to loose her. The only girl I ever loved. She was standing in the mirror smiling.
"I look, beautiful." she says.
"you always have." I whisper but she doesnt hear it.
there is a knock on the door. I go over.
"You look stunning." Ben says. I look at him as he stares at Mal.
"Thank you." Mal says turning bright pink.
That's not fair. My heart breaks. I can't stay here after the coronation. I will tell Ben about the relationship and be sent back to the Isle. I will ask him to do it secretly so I don't have to worry about my mother. I look at the ground, doing my best not to let the tears fall. I fake a smile as we all walk out. Ben takes Mal, and they sit in this beautiful carriage pulled by horses. I walk inside and find Jay and Carlos. They notice I'm sad, but before they say anything. Ben walks in with Mal on his arm. That should be me. I think. Focusing, I snap the connection Mal and I have. She glances at me, but I look away. I sit there, staring at the ground while they do the whole dumb ceremony. Finally it finishes. I clap then run out the door. The tears can no longer be held back, my vision gets blury and I fall. I feel a set of hands helping me up. I turn around its Ben.
"What?" I snap.
"I came to see why you ran out." He says.
"Because, im still in love with Mal, and it hurts that she loves you know. Can I ask a request?" I ask sobbing.
"Of course." He says a hint of pity in his voice.
"Send me back to the Isle. Please. Just no cameras, no news. If anyone asks I ran away." I beg.
"I can't. As King I need a real reason." he says sadly.
"Mal and I have been secretly dating." I blurt out.
"WHAT?" He roars.
"Well, we were." I say.
"Your request is granted. Go pack your bags. You have 2 hours for goodbyes." Ben says madly storming off.
