Welcome To Auradon

We finally make it to Auradon. Its beautiful. The trees have color, reds, yellows, oranges. The sky is like 3 shades of blue. Its beautiful. And there is REAL grass. Mal, its so beautiful here . I say. Finally the car comes to a stop. Jay and Carlos step out first holding hands. Jarlos? I ask Mal. She nods her head. The boys walk around, still holding hands. Ben gets out next and some princess immediately latches herself onto him. Taking a deep breath, Mal and I get out. We hold hands because I'm scared. I mean yes we are dating, but if anyone asks, thats why. I scan the crowd, everyone looks scared of us.

"People of Auradon, please welcome Mal, Evie, Jay and Carlos to our home." Ben announces.

"I'm Audrey. Daughter of Aurora." The girl attached to Ben says.

"How is your mother? I've heard sleeping 100 years really makes the back stiff." Mal laughs.

I giggle beside her. Jay and Carlos burst into laughter. Audrey frowns.

"You should really respect your future queen better." She snaps.

Mal starts laughing. I giggle, while Jay and Carlos roll on the ground laughing.

"Children behave." A voice says.

A short lady in blue walks towards us. Ben moves aside.

"I am Fairy Godmother." She says. "Jane! Lonnie! Doug!"

Three kids come running forward. I notice the two girls holding hands. Mal, why are they holding hands if they can't date? I ask. Maybe they are dating. We should ask. I agree with her silently.

"Jane and Lonnie will be sharing with the girls, while Doug will show the boys to their room."

"We get our own room?" Jay asks.

Fairy Godmother nods her head slowly as if the boys were stupid. The girls walk up to us. The one in the blue dress speaks first.

"I'm Jane. Fairy Godmothers my mom. This is my girlfriend Lonnie." She says.

Her voice is super sweet, and she is super nice, but girlfriend? Ben told us it was banned.

"Lonnie, daughter of Mulan." She says smiling. Lonnie kisses Jane's cheek before grabbing our bags and motioning us to follow her. Taking Mal's hand, I follow. Finally we make it to our dorm. Its perfect. The entire room is rainbow, but there is one white wall. We all have huge beds made for princesses, and everyone has a desk for homework, plus one extra thing. I have a sewing machine, Mal has art supplies and the white wall, Jane has a bunch of papers and designs, and Lonnie has swords.

"So you two are dating?" Mal asks.

"Maleficent Bertha!" I hiss hitting her.

"It's okay Evie. Yes we are." Jane says.

"But Prince Ben said that it was banned in Auradon." I whisper.

"I'm going to kill him." Lonnie says.

"I knew it." Mal hisses. Her eyes turn a bright green. No, not again.

"M, honey, calm down its okay." I whisper rubbing her back gently. I knew that if this got out of hand she would transform. I don't want to scare them before we are even friends.

"I'm not trying to be rude, but are you guys dating?" Lonnie asks.

"Yeah we are. We've been together for about 2 years, but its been a year and a half since Mal took me on a date because of my mother." I say sadly.

"Wanna go on a double date?" Jane asks hopefully.

"How about a triple date? We can invite the boys too." Mal suggests.

"T-the boys?" Jane stammers.

"Oh, don't worry Jane, they are together, but also our brothers." I smile.

I open my arms and Jane and I hug. Lonnie and Mal join and we have a huge group hug.

We all sit in a small cafe. I got hot chocolate, Mal got a coffee, Jay and Carlos got a giant smoothie to share, and Lonnie and Jane shared a latte. 

"So Jane, tell us what is there to do for fun in Auradon?" Carlos asks sweetly. 

I sip my hot chocolate getting marshmallow over my face. Mal looks at me and kisses me.

"Stop being gay for a minute." Lonnie laughs. 

We all start laughing. In the time we spent together we really got to know each other. Jane and Lonnie are outsiders because they are gay. Lonnie wants to join the fencing team, Jane loves planning things. Audrey and Ben are the main couple everyone talks about. Auradon Prep is terrible. We are going to get a lot of hate, but whatever. We were actually having fun. 

"Do you have a skate park?" I ask quietly. 

"Yeah, Jane and I go there a lot." Lonnie says. 

"Can we go?" I ask my face lighting up. I loved to skate. I was a pro on the board, its something I had to do "for balance", but I ended up being amazing on it. 

"You can skate?" Jay laughs. 

"Bet I can kick your butt on a board." I say, angry hes doubting my skills. 

"50 bucks" Jay says. 

"You're on." I say. 

"20 on E." Mal says. She's seen me skate. 

"40 on Jay." Carlos says. 

"30 on Jay." Lonnie says. 

"100 on Evie." Jane says, 

"100!" I exclaim. 

"Whoever wins between Jay and Evie, gets all of the money." Lonnie says. 

We all nod and shake hands in agreement. Then we head to the skate park.
