"you do know that i love you, right?" richie said in a whisper. the room was pitch black, the only light was the moon coming into the room by the sliver in the window curtains. it was silent, just breathing and the slight buzz from t.v static in the loft.
"i know." a small voice loomed through the darkness.
richie took a deep breath, he felt unsettled for whatever reason. eddies hand trailed up and down richies back. his hand was cold, but it always was.
richie pulled him in closer, grabbing eddies hands in his own.
"you're freezing." richie spoke softly. eddie nodded, inching closer towards the warmth of richies body. richie welcomed this, glad to be as close as possible.
"i love you too, by the way." eddies voice was muffled by blanket, and his cold nose just barely touched the skin of richies chest.
"i know eds."
