Chapter 13

DRACO MALFOY

SHE USES HER mental illness to feel like someone because she feels like no one. I traced the dark marks that remained onto her arm. She shivered underneath my touch. She remained asleep underneath the black comforter, wearing an oversized t-shirt. I pushed some of her hair back while she was asleep. She always slept pretty. Always.

I removed my fingers from her face as the cold air moved throughout the room. I reached for my nightstand and slipped on my glasses. The letter always pops up. I'd eventually take it out of the green box and lose it.

I looked over to Sage. She's still fast asleep. Good.

I flipped open the letter. I shouldn't have written this but it was much needed.

D.M. 1995

DEAR SAGE , I used to think it was wrong of me to follow you around. Stalk you. I'm just trying to make sure you're well, not hurting you. I think you're fascinating. Which is why I promise to hurt anyone who tries to get close to you. Kill them. Take them and torture them.

Get them to tell me their darkest secrets. Then kill them. What would a 14 year old know about killing though? It's stupid. However I think I would take dangerous measures to have you to myself. You are such a beautiful thing, almost too beautiful for anyone to comprehend. I've come up with our children's names. If we have a girl we'd name her Neffy if it's a boy Louise. I've planned our future. If you leave me however I will hurt you. Hurt who you left me for and you will have no choice but to be mine.

So don't ever leave me. Don't think about leaving me, hurting me, giving me reasons why we should ever not be together. I will show you who you're gonna stay with. You may see things you will not want to see but that's love. And since I love you so much. You will not have a stable relationship until you're mine. I may be dangerous but we all are. You will be mine for eternity and I will be yours, that's a fact and I mean it.

So don't leave me. I will make sure you won't ever do that again.

I flipped the note shut. I feel happy to know she will be mine. I can do whatever I want with her because she's my Sage and I love her.

I used to write down scenarios between Sage and I. I may still do them when I feel as if I am alone. They'd probably be about sex, or cuddling or just me finger fucking her. This is how it has to be because I want her, I need her, and I love her.
I know she'd kill for me too. I'd do it anyday.

I placed the note behind the nightstand. "What are you doing?" A tired voice asked. I quickly turned to Sage. She sat up tiredly running her eyes. "Nothing," I said. "Why is the lamp on?" She asked.

I turned back to the nightstand turning the lamp off. "There..." I said. "You can go back to sleep now," I said quickly. Instead she wrapped her arms around my neck, I smirked against the crook of her neck. She adjusted herself pulling me closer into the hug. "What's this for?" I asked.

"I just need you to hold me. Can you do that?" She asked. I nodded slowly and pressed her back onto the mattress. I adjusted her legs so they'd be around my waist, her arms were now wrapping around my back. "This is a sex position" She said giggling. "That's alright though" I said softly. She smiled lazily and I pushed my head against her chest. After a couple of minutes I fluttered my eyes shut soon hearing her soft snores. I usually hate them but she's the only exception. She always will be.

"Malfoy..." a girl whispered. "You can get up or you can sleep all day. You decide" She teased. I open my eyes instantly looking up to Sage. She wore her hair in two low pigtails, a short cream white dress and a light blue cardigan over it. "Where are you going" I asked tiredly.

"No where. The thought of getting dressed up is fun" she replied. "Oh" I said in a strained voice. I sat up lazily staring at the comforter. "I'm sorry for waking you," she said.

"It's fine, I need to get up anyways" I replied. She stayed quiet for a few minutes before climbing into my bed. "What- what are you doing?" I asked. "Sitting. In your bed" she responded.

I sent her a small smile. "Was it not obvious already?" She said with a laugh. "No no, it was obvious," I said.

She moved closer to me paying attention to my hair. She hesitantly raised her hand up to brush some over my hair away from my eye. "Is this alright?" She asked. "Yes" I replied.

She continued playing with my hair. I'd eventually end up with my head on her lap while we talked about random stuff.
