Severus, Andrew and I spent a blissful week together. We had gone to Diagon Alley where Severus spoiled my son and I so much. I got to buy whatever I wanted for Andrew meaning that he got new clothes, shoes, furniture, and just about everything imaginable. I didn't feel guilty about having Severus spending this money on us because I would pay him back on the quiet.
I hadn't spread the news about Andrew being my son until I knew that the entire adoption was unbreakable. We had gotten so close over the week together that it was remarkable. Spending all this time with Severus and Andrew made me feel like I had that family I always dreamed off.
As I packed our things Severus sat on his bed with Andrew. I put an extendable charm on one bag before folding some of my shirts.
"I will see you on the train next?" Severus asked.
"Yes since Andrew and I are off to Egypt in a bit!" I answered. "I'm so excited, Severus. Can you imagine how incredible the pyramids will be?"
Severus didn't comment on my excitement. Instead he asked, "What happens if you can't make it on the trip? Then will I see you earlier?"
I laughed, shaking my head at him, as I teased, "Are you going to sabotage my trip?"
"Depends," He chuckled. "Will you stay with me?"
"Well, the Weasley's would be gone, Clyde would be busy with Auror stuff, Harry is stuck with the Dursley's, the Malfoy's aren't speaking with me, and Remus is preparing for Hogwarts. Then there is John and Amber who have moved in together in Ireland and Rose is in Australia studying. So yeah, it would be just Andrew and I which means yes I will have to stay with you," I explained.
"You say it like that's a bad thing." He teased.
"Nope, it is rather amazing."
"Hmm then a sabotaged trip sounds good," he thought out loud.
I laughed knowing he was joking.
I finished packing and took Andrew with me. We walked downstairs with Severus and our bags following close behind us.
"Bye Severus," I said kissing him, "Andrew say bye-bye to Severus."
Andrew just gurgled at him. I surrounded myself with all the bags and said a final goodbye to Severus before apparating back to the Burrow. I reached the Burrow and heard loud chatter coming from within. I walked in.
"Doll face you're back!!" Clyde exclaimed.
"Yes I am!" I said smiling.
"Stacey! Aw hi Andrew, cutie!" Ginny said warmly.
"Helloooo," George and Fred said.
"Oh welcome back dear, we have missed you! Arthur is at work at already, Percy went out somewhere and Ron went to Diagon Alley with Bill. Did you enjoy your time at Spinner's End?" Molly asked.
"Of course she did! A week with Snape eh?" George said winking.
"Is there another baby on the way?" Fred asked patting my stomach.
I blushed and handed Andrew over to an excited Ginny.
"No, nothing like that boys," I laughed.
"You left with two bags and return with eight. What is in all of this?" Clyde asked.
"Andrew's things; Severus bought somethings for him." I explained,
"So you're keeping him?" Ginny asked happily.
"Absolutely! Molly do you mind if Andrew sleeps in my room with Clyde and I? I have a crib in one of these bags, extendable charm. Bless it."
"Oh it is no problem! Andrew is the sweetest baby! And I forgot to tell you Stacey, you have a visitor waiting for you in the living room." Molly told.
