We spent the night looking for working cars and places that we could stay. We ended up at a mall, I decided to look for medical supplies I could use to treat Chota's burn. After I found them and patched him up, I went looking for new clothes to change into.

I found some black pants similar to the ones I was already wearing, but they seemed more moveable, which could be good if the other games are anything like the one last night. I put on a plain tank top along with a zippable sweatshirt. I decided to pick up more clothes for my friends and the woman, whose name I learned was Shibuki, to change into.

I get back and give them their clothing, Karube and Hibuki still not back from exploring yet.

Me and Arisu sit down, listening to Chota explain to us that none of the electronics were working.

"Anything that operates via an electronic circuit board won't function at all," Chota explains to us.

"But things like this still work, Huh?" he says while picking up a radio box looking thing, "Since they don't have IC chips installed."

"What does this mean?" Arisu asks. I look to Chota for answers.

"Maybe. . ." he starts, "It might have been an electromagnetic pulse attack."

"A what?" I ask, not knowing much about technology or electronics in general.

"I've read about this on the Internet. When fired into the atmosphere, it's a weapon capable of destroying the electronics in an entire city," Chota explains.

"Seriously?" Arisu questions, interested in knowing more.

We sit in a comfortable silence, when Arisu points to his phone he got from the game last night, "Why is this still working then?"

"I have no idea," Chota says sadly

I hear static coming from Arisu's phone and he starts tapping it.

"Maybe the battery ran out?" I try to reason.

Arisu looks at chota, Chota gives him an unsure look

"It's useless if we can't charge it," Arisu states throwing the phone onto the table.

Karube and Shibuki come back soon after and we start eating the food we found.

"Mmmmh, It's delicious," I say taking a sip of the soup

"I feel alive again," I hear chota say.

"Nice and hot" Karube adds.

"We haven't eaten anything since yesterday," Chota says, food basically spilling out of his mouth.

I take another spoonful and shove it into my mouth. Looking up to see Shibuki laughing at me, I smile back at her.

"What were the four of you doing?" Shibuki asks, "When everyone disappeared I mean."

We stop eating and look at eachother, "We were in the restroom," Arisu tells the woman

"We were talking in the same cubicle," Chota adds

She looked at me, "And what were you doing?"

"Oh I umm, was also in the cubicle," I giggle as I see confusion on her face.

"It's a long story," I explain.

"What about you?" Karube asks Shibuki.

A look of regret rushes to her face, "Work," she says plainly. I can tell she was lying, but whatever she was keeping from us must be embarrassing for her, so I decide to keep my mouth shut. Instead I take another bite from my food.
