We didn't waste another moment in the room, both of us already on our way to the lobby. I stood a little bit behind him, still not exactly fond of him at the moment. He would repeatedly look behind at me, not sure if it was to check if I was alright or to just see if I was still there."Y/n! Chishiya!"
I look behind me to see Kuina as she runs up to us. She seemed a bit frantic, but who wasn't at the moment.
She stops in front of me, looking between me and Chishiya, but mostly me. I wondered if she was in on the plan as well, but quickly came to the conclusion that she definitely was. For some reason I wasn't as mad at her as I was at Chishiya. Maybe it was because something inside of me was disappointed that Chishiya didn't actually care about me.
I look away from her gaze, and she starts to speak, "Y/n, i'm sorry-"
"We don't have time for this right now," I interrupt her, turning back around. When I turned around I saw Chishiya looking at me sadly. I felt a part of me longing for him, wanting to forgive him, but I just couldn't... it felt like my heart and my mind were battling eachother inside of me.
I shake off the feeling and walk past him, not wanting to think about this for a moment because there is a bigger problem at hand.
The Ten of Hearts Game.
We still didn't even know what the game was.
I walked into the lobby, immediately going to the table that was sitting in the middle of the room. Before I could grab one Chishiya comes up from behind me, grabbing one for himself, then grabbing another one, handing it to me.
I take it from him, "You don't have to act like this to me. I'm not gonna forgive you right now."
He shrugs his shoulders at me, "I want to, and if there's still a chance you will forgive me, I'll keep doing it."
Kuina comes up next to us, grabbing a phone as well, before getting both of our attention, pointing in the direction of something. I turn my head to see huge pile of people surrounding something.
We all walked towards it, and I tried standing on the tips of my toes to see what everyone was looking at, but there were too many people so I gave up, deciding it probably wasn't that important anyway.
"Momoka!?" I hear a girl scream from close to the inside of the circle of people.I, once again, try to look over the crowd of people, finally being able to see what was the cause of this gathering.
I gasp escapes my throat. A girl was lying on the ground, she had a knife sticking out of her chest, and it was obvious she was dead.
"What is going on?" I mutter to myself, suddenly feeling worse about the game.
My phone starts dinging and I look down at it, Kuina and Chishiya doing the same next to me.
Game, "Witch Hunt."
The evil witch who took the girl's life is hiding among you.
The witch role is not limited to women.
The whole crowd of people, start gasping and muttering around me.
You clear the game if you find the witch and burn them in the Fire of Judgement.
Time limit, two hours.
I hear a man's voice from the other side of the room, "There's a fire burning at the back of the building!"
"Find the one who murdered Momoka, then burn them in the Fire of Judgment," Ann says, not far from where the three of us were standing. I look at her and she has a look of determination on her face.
