The sudden revelation caused Mingyu's circle of friends to shriek rather loudly, catching the attention of everyone inside the cafeteria.
"Sorry. We're sorry," the six bowed as an apology to the disturbance caused. The Princes and Mingyu only giggled at their reaction.
"Sorry about that sudden outburst," Jeonghan apologized to the Princes in behalf of his friends.
"It's okay. We understand. We just found out ourselves when Mingyu was touring us," Vernon dismissed.
"By the way, it might be late but congratulations to the two of you," Joshua said and the rest followed.
"So, would you mind telling us the story of how it happened?" Seungcheol inquired.
"It's a funny story actually but I'll let Wonnie narrate," Mingyu leaned on Wonwoo.
"Why me? It's embarrassing for my part," Wonwoo protested.
"Please," Mingyu stared at Wonwoo with puppy eyes.
"Fine," Wonwoo conceded. "It happened about two months ago when I was navigating myself through the shopping district. It was only my third time there so I wasn't totally familiar with the place yet."
"Oh my goodness. Don't tell me..." Seokmin gasped.
"Yup. I may have got lost in the shopping district. When suddenly, the rain poured down. So I had entered the nearest shop I could find. Turns out, it was a restaurant."
"Let me guess. Mingyu was inside, eating," Jihoon predicted.
"Exactly. I sat on one of the tables which coincidentally was beside Gyu's table. At that point, I really wished no one would recognize me. However, this guy made eye contact with me, stood up and asked me without any hesitation: 'Aren't you Prince Wonwoo?'. Out of embarrassment, I answered 'no' and because of that, our marks glowed and the rest is history."
"Wait, why did the mark glow all of a sudden?" Joshua questioned.
"Don't you know the mechanics of the soulmate marks, hyung?" Chan responded.
"Actually, no," Joshua, along with Seungkwan and Minghao, shook their heads.
"Well, I guess you will have to listen intently to our Fatumics class, then," Mingyu smiled.
"I can't believe you got lost in the shopping district. You of all people," Soonyoung cackled.
"Oh, shut up, will you?" Wonwoo retorted.
"Yeah. There is nothing wrong with getting lost from time to time," Jihoon backed up.
"Yow, Minghao! Would you like to go to the shopping district with me?" Jun said out of the blue. Minghao just sat there, awkwardly frozen in his place.
"Okay, that escalated quickly," Seokmin stated. "How about we go have our lunch?"
"Sure."
Following their lunch, the rest of the day proceeded as usual. All of their afternoon classes dismissed them early as technically it was the first day of class. This earned a great satisfaction from the students of Section Rose Quartz.
"What should do now? It is still early," Chan stated.
"We should hang out. Let's go to our favorite hang-out place," Seungkwan suggested.
"That is a great idea," Minghao agreed.
"Fine. I have nothing else to do anyway," Jihoon sighed.
