"Guys, we need to go to the palace," Mark told the other Dreamies.
"What's the problem, Mark-hyung?" Chenle turned his head towards Mark's direction.
"It's finally our time to shine." Mark stated. "Chenle, we need to go to the palace immediately. I'll explain everything when we get there."
"Okay, sure," Chenle just followed Mark's instructions.
Chenle teleported the Dreamies to the palace in swirls of neon green clouds. Thankfully, they found everyone in the dining area, having their dinner. On the other hand, the palace inhabitants were surprised to see their dongsaengs at this late hour in the palace.
"Oh, Dreamies? Why are you here?" Seungcheol first noticed their arrival.
"Emergency, hyung!" Mark urgently relayed the message. "Sungwoon-hyung contacted me telepathically. He said that another group of Moissanites will be attacking the palace from Fear Forest. They assigned us to hold them off but they said to ask for your help."
"Oh, I see," Seungcheol stood up. His five brother stood after him.
"Cheollie..." Jeonghan looked at Seungcheol worriedly.
"Are you going to fight again like the last time?" Minghao pulled Jun's sleeves.
"Kyeomie..." Chan looked up at Seokmin.
"Do you really need to?" Seungkwan said.
"Not this again," Mingyu mumbled.
"Can't we go with you?" Jihoon told Soonyoung.
"Unfortunately, no, Ji. We can't afford you being there. It's too dangerous," Soonyoung rejected Jihoon's proposal.
"But we have been training," Mingyu argued.
"You are still inexperienced," Wonwoo countered.
"How about them, then? Why are the Dreamies going with you?" Chan snapped.
"Because they are officially the Royal Defense Force's understudies now. It's their duty," Seokmin reasoned out.
"But—" Jeonghan tried to join the argument but was cut-off.
"We all want you here where we know you are safest," Seungcheol firmly stated. "And besides, we need you to guard the palace just case any Barbarian slip past us. Can we trust you enough for that?"
"Fine. I guess," Jeonghan mumbled.
"I'll be heading now, Dino-ya. I'll give you a reward as soon as I return. I promise you that," Seokmin rubbed noses with Chan.
"Kwannie, like I said before, I'll be fine," Vernon took Seungkwan's hand and kissed it.
"Haohao, I promise to return to you again this time... just like before," Jun kissed the top of Minghao's head.
"Don't worry. You know we're original Paragons right?" Wonwoo kissed Mingyu's nose.
"Ji, just hold on to my promise. I'll come back to you, okay?" Soonyoung placed a long gentle kiss on Jihoon's cheek.
"Hannie, take care of our Shua, okay? He doesn't have any powers yet," Seungcheol kissed Jeonghan's forehead.
"Sorry if I am just a burden right now," Joshua sadly muttered.
"You're not a burden, Shua. You're the treasure we both want to protect," Seungcheol kissed Joshua's forehead. "Stay close to Hannie."
"Okay."
