Jasmine's P.O.V

"You were supposed to be here 10 minutes ago."

After I told Vivian about what Scarlett had managed to get herself into and my quest to find her, she burst out laughing. She had seemed surprised when I remarked how she reacted with Xavier. She couldn't believe it. She wasn't the only one, Anyone and Everyone who knew Scarlett wouldn't believe it.

I told her about the mystery guy too. She also knew I didn't love Anthony, and even though she disapproved him she wasn't persistent in convincing me to not marry him like Kristen and Scarlett.

We stopped the car near the exit of the airport while we waited for Kristen and Scarlett. They did come eventually, but Scarlett looked annoyed a little more than usual. They got into the back seat as I informed them they were late.

"Yeah we know." Scarlett grumbled looking out of the window.

I started driving the car and headed to our favourite arcade in all of Los Angeles.

"What went and stuck up her ass?" Vivian asked while I focused on the road.

"We um...came across this guy who claimed to know Scarlett but she said she didn't know him and then they started to argue. Scarlett kind of humiliated him in front of a lot of people especially in the...uh I think you get my point." Kristen explained nervously.

"He must be one of the guys you hooked up with or something. Why are you getting worked up about this?" I asked, confused.

Scarlett glared at me through the mirror which I royally ignored.

"That's where you're wrong. When I told him he's probably one of my flings, and I couldn't care to remember, he laughed at me. He had the audacity to fucking laugh at me. Do you know what the worst part is. The worst part is he told me I was too low for his standards. I swear to god if Kristen didn't drag me out of the girl's changing room, there would have been a murder and definitely bloodshed." she yelled with rage firing in her eyes.

"Wait girls changing room? What was he doing there?" Vivian asked, shocked.

"Since I refused to talk to him, he followed me inside."

"Wait What-"

"Oh, that's not the only thing. He told me he saved me yesterday from some guy. He said that I was drunk and mumbling about rainbow pooping babies. And do you know what he called me? He called me cute. He fucking tapped my nose and said I looked cute yesterday like a puppy. That was the last straw no one calls me cute and definitely not like a puppy. I'm no one's puppy unquestionably not his. That's not all; he didn't only know me; he knew you too. Heck, he even knew my licence plate. I bet he stalked me from yesterday " she continued yelling as I pressed my leg on the brake and the car came to a halt.

I turned around and looked at Scarlett, who was now puzzled as to why I stopped the car.

"What was his name?" I hurriedly asked as cars behind us were honking at ours.

"I think it started with an X...right Xavier Dominique. Why does that even-"

"Oh my god," I cut her.

Vivian being the sensible one, tapped my shoulder and told me to start driving again, seeing that a line of cars had stopped behind ours. I quickly pressed my leg on the accelerator, and the car began to move again.

"Why does his name even matter? He is a certified asshole. He acted like I was some kind of damsel in distress and he was my prince charming." Scarlett rolled her eyes and slumped back into the seat.
