Hey guys!!

I'm back. Sorry for keeping you waiting. It's been a really long and hard month for me but I'm glad it's over. Anyways, this chapter might be a little rusty since I hadn't written in a while but I hope you could support me. I promise to edit it later but for now. Happy Reading!

Also,

HAPPY NEW YEAR

to my fellow lovely readers. Hope you have a great year ahead.

Jasmine's P.O.V

"How do I look?"

I asked, stepping out of my closet in front of the three girls sitting on my bed arguing about the hottest character in shadow hunters. What's there to argue about? It's definitely Alec Lightwood.

Three heads turned in my direction, scrutinising me with their gazes.

I raised my brow and asked again: "So?"

"Are you trying to make me regret I'm straight? I have an idea. Let's leave Xavier's and Nate's asses and elope together." Scarlett said, earning her a smack on both sides of her head, each by Vivian and Kristen.

"Jas, don't you dare leave my innocent brother in law for this baboon," Kristen warned while glaring at me playfully before continuing: "I think you might need to keep the ambulance on speed dial tonight because Nate is definitely going to get a heart attack if you're looking so hot."

"She's right Jas. I have no doubt that you'll be the centre of attraction tonight." Vivian chirped in as well.

I turned around to check myself in the mirror once again. The dress I was wearing was floor-length, navy blue in colour with a hint of silver at the ends. The top portion was velvet with rhinestones embedded all over it, while the bottom part was flowy, ending with silver streaks. To complement the look, I left my hair open and wore a set of dangling diamond earrings.

Maybe I do look good.

"Thanks, guys. I'm just kinda sad we have to reschedule our girls night."

"Don't worry, Jas. We'll have it tomorrow. It's not like any of us are busy. I'm as jobless as a jobless person can be. Vivian has a 9-5 job. As for Scarlett, when she isn't actually working, she's either as jobless as I am, or she has a fuck appointment with Xavier." Kristen said, for which Vivian and I laughed, earning us a glare from the vicious redhead.

"It's not a fuck appointment. It's a business meeting." Scarlett hissed at us.

"SAME THING!" All three of us said at the same time.

"To you, it's a business meeting, to Xavier it's a date and to us it's a fuck appointment because in the end of the day you both end up fucking anyway." Vivian shrugged while I laughed again, looking at her pissed off expression.

"I really hate you guys sometime." Scarlett huffed, crossing her arms like a toddler.

"Aww no you don't. You just said you wanted to elope with me. Guess you realised your everlasting love for Xavier." I grinned at her making her scowl deepen.

"Ugh, all three of you are impossible. I'm leaving. I'm already late." Scarlett said as she got off my bed and headed towards the door.

"For what, your fuck appointment with Xavier?" Kristen teased when Scarlett was almost out.

"No, for my business meeting with Xavier." she corrected.

"SAME THING" we shouted before she was out of sight.
