The river was sullen as they dipped their hand into it-- drip love,
Little by little submerging themselves in the cold liquid-- shiver; drown.
It would be suffocating if not for the dulling nature of their listless heart. Please solve,
This puzzle was no longer a matter of when or how-- this sound.
They would've fallen hard,
But they never did stop falling.
And,
It hurt as a being.
As the water around them lulled their senses to sleep,
Their heart rest iddly by-- beating to a beep.
I love you,
I loved you -- not.
When can I say goodbye-?
