As Kristopher walked down the cold street he suddenly stopped. 

"Ji-Ah..." he said as foggy smoke came out of his mouth 

"Wha- Kristopher..." she said sadly 

"How have you been?" he asked awkwardly as he walked towards her 

"Fine...I guess"

"Mm"

"You?"

"Better...I guess"

"Oh"

"Do you still hate me?" he asked as he looked at her profile 

"No..."

"Are you su-"

"Bye," she said as she crossed the street 

"Wha- Wait" he said suddenly grabbing her wrist 

"What?" she asked avoiding eye-contact 

"Ji-ah I-I'm sorry...I didn't treat you well...I should've treated you better..."

"It's alright...you were going through something and I was too blind to see it...So I'm sorry"

"C-can we...A-at least be friends?"

"Mm, I guess," she said looking at his light brown eyes 

"YAY!!" he said letting go of her wrist 

"Get home safely," she said suddenly blushing 

"L-Let m-me walk you home" 

"Um, okay," she said with a sudden smile 

"Let's go," he said taking her by the hand across the busy street 

"How's your father?" he asked still holding her hand 

"Better, he's gone back to back"

"Ah, How's your sister?"

"Mm, she just learned how to add and subtract numbers but she doesn't understand it"

"Haha, I could help her if you want"

"Mm, I'd think she'd like that," she said suddenly laughing 

"Do you still live in the same house?"

"Yup, I haven't moved"

"Okay," he said with a smile 

"How did I forget how kind he is?" thought the girl as she glanced at him

"You okay?" he asked tapping her on her head 

"Mhm" she hummed with a nod 

"What are you thinking about?"

"N-nothing"

"Wanna get ice cream really quick?" he asked with a smile 

"Okay" 

"Yuri-Chan?" asked Anthony seeing her holding hands with Kristopher 

"What," she said coldly 

"You know Anthony?" asked Kristopher 

"Mm" she hummed with a nod 

"Why are you two holding hands?" he asked beginning to get upset

"I'm walking her home," he said tightening his grip on her hand 

"But why-"

"Which one do you want?" she asked pulling Kristopher towards the freezer 

"That one," he said pointing at a chocolate ice cream 

"Okay," she said as she reached for both

"I'll pay," he said taking out his wallet 

"I'll pay you back," she said letting go of his hand

"It's fine, I dragged you here to get some"

"Isn't it a bit too cold to eat ice cream?" asked the cashier 

"NOPE!" said Kristopher with a smile 

As the girl turned back she made eye contact with Anthony 

"Yuri...Who is your first love?" he asked as he glared at Kristopher 

"Let's go" said Kristopher as he took her by the hand and walked out of the store causing Anthony to clench his fist in anger 

"I-"

"You don't have to answer that question...I know it makes you uncomfortable-" he said as he continued to walk towards a small garden 

"It's you"

"Wha-"
