'Bobby' had gathered us all upstairs while the party continued to go on. Which at this point, he didn't even seem to care it was happening. Luke and Alex glance at each other briefly while Bobby paces. "How is this.. how is this possible? I watched you guys die! I attended your funerals." He stops and looks at all the boys. Reggie looks kind of scared honestly. I take his hand gently.
"We died, but Julie brought us back somehow. (Y/n) brought us back to life though, we can be seen by other people. Including my parents." Luke explains. Bobby seems even more confused. Reggie keeps holding my hand. Julie was dragged up here too since she's apart of the band, but she stays quiet as well.
"I'm crazy." Bobby says, rubbing his face. He walks over to a mirror and looks at his reflection, his hair a mess and his face pale like he'd just seen a ghost. Well. In a way, he most definitely did. They just weren't considered ghost anymore.
"You're not crazy, Bobby. We're here now." Alex says as Bobby turns to look at him. Bobby sighs quietly and nods. "We've missed you." Reggie says and smiles at him. He looks at Reggie, not being able to help but smile at him. "I've missed you too, Reg." He says making me smile this time. Reggie let's go of my hand and stands up to walk over, hugging him. Bobby hugs him back.
"Group hug!" Luke says excitedly, running over to join in. Alex chuckles and walks over as well. Julie and I smile at each other. "You're not mad about the party are you?" Reggie asks, raising his eyebrow. "No. Carrie does this all the time." He shrugs which makes me kind of laugh.
We finish talking to Bobby and walk downstairs. He told us we were allowed over here anytime we wanted, just incase the boys wanted to catch up. Alex already explained though that he'd been crying for twenty-five years. Bobby told him that it was okay, he knew he was emotional.
"I can't believe we just talked to Bobby again." Reggie says as we stand outside on the porch. "It's insane. We're kind of getting our old life back, except Bobby's old now." Luke says, everyone in the group laughing at that. Josh walks outside and immediately over to us. "Hey, band-kid. You can't go around punching my friends." Josh says, glaring at him. Luke glares back at him but I make sure to stand in between them.
"Maybe if your friends learned some manners." I speak up, making Josh look at me. "Maybe you should stay out of this conversation." Josh says, I raise my eyebrow at him and tilt my head a bit. There was no way in hell I was letting him talk to me like this.
"You can go back inside. The conversation is over." I cross my arms and continue to stand in between him and Luke. "Aww, your little girlfriend has to fight your fights for you." Josh says, looking past me to Luke. My anger got the best of me as I sent a hard slap across Josh's face. He steps back and holds his cheek in shock. Alex and Julie both cover their mouth to try not to laugh. Luke smirks at Josh. "Looks like you could use a few manners too." I snap at him. He shakes his head at me and quickly walks back into the party.
"Someone please explain to me why my girlfriend is so hot." Luke says. I laugh softly and roll my eyes at him. "Because look at what she's wearing man, that dress is fabulous." Reggie says which makes me laugh more. Julie shakes her head at him. "Come on guys. We've had enough excitement for one day. Let's get home." I walk off the porch with them following me and get in Julie's car. I lean my head on Luke's shoulder. He smiles and wraps his arm around me.
Julie drops Luke and I off at my house. I walk inside and look around for my grandparents. 'We're gone for the evening. You and Luke, if he's there, order a pizza.' Twenty bucks were left beside the note. I smile at the fact that she knew Luke was going to be here. He walks up behind me and wraps his arms around my waist. I lean back against his chest. "I had fun tonight." He says and I nod. "I did too. Sorry you had to punch someone." I say, leaning up to kiss his cheek softly. He closes his eyes briefly and shrugs. I take his hand and walk upstairs. I needed to get more comfortable. He sits on my bed, leaning back. I slip out of my heels and place them back where they belong. My feet hurt a bit.
"Do you mind unzipping my dress..?" I ask, turning my back towards him and moving my hair. He stands up and walks over. He easily grabs the zipper and pulls it down. His fingers briefly brush against my lower back. I slide the dress off my shoulders, glancing back at him a little. "Did you mean what you said in the car?" I ask quietly, looking at him.
"Yes. You drive me absolutely crazy." His voice slightly raspy when he speaks. My heart beats faster like it normally did with him. "We could just be waking up next to each other and you'd still drive me crazy. (Y/n), the affect you have on me is insane." I turn to look at him. He reaches his hand out for mine. I gently take it as he pulls me closer.
"You drive me crazy too." I say softly, smiling at him and cupping his face. "I'll show you how crazy you make me." He says as I laugh quietly when he pulls me even closer to him.
