It was around midnight when I felt my bed dip and someone lay beside me, their arm immediately going around my waist. I was still half asleep but I didn't even have to turn around to see the bracelet covered wrist laying across me. It was Luke. Luke had a big issue with sleeping at night. Reggie or Alex either kept him up, wanting to go out or joke around in the studio. Willie would come over sometimes which meant Alex and him wanted to watch a movie. Luke loved his band mates but he also loved his sleep. Running on no sleep meant he was less likely to perform as good as he usually does. That's what he strived for. Playing good for people who enjoyed it. It wasn't uncommon to wake up to my window being opened or feeling my bed move. Luke told me he needed to be near me to sleep. I roll over in his arms and move mine around his neck. His head automatically moves to bury into my neck. I smile a little and hold him close. Luke's favorite thing about coming over here to sleep is to cuddle. This man was a cuddler. When I would try to do homework, he was cuddling me. Luke especially didn't like it when I tried to move or get up. He liked to lay his head against the crook of my neck and hold me as close as possible. That was just his thing. It was comforting for him. I eventually get comfortable enough to finally fall asleep fully with him.

My alarm goes off in the morning, signaling it's time for school. "Turn it off." Luke groans behind me. I smile a little and reach over to press the stop. "I've got school, bub." I say, looking at him. He doesn't open his eyes nor speak. I smile a little and move my hand to run my fingers through his hair. He smiles a little. "Skip." He says and wraps his arms around me more, his head laying on my chest. "Ha. You're funny." I shake my head at him and continue to play with his hair. Luke wasn't exactly the best influence sometimes when it came to school. He wanted me to skip or either leave early or just hang out with him in the music room the whole day. My grandma warned if my grades slipped just once, Luke and I were done for. The same goes for the band. School came first around this house. According to Luke, that wasn't the case. But then again, he also died 25 years ago. I check the time on my phone again just as Luke snatched it from me.

"Luke." I say sternly, looking down at him. I loved him more than anything but he could act like a big child sometimes. He pushes himself into a push-up position above me, looking down at me. "Y/n." He says, matching my tone. My face heats up when he does. I shake my head at him a little.

"You never skip. You always are on time. You do your homework. You have amazing grades. Cmon, baby." He says continuing to look down at me. He knew that one word could drive me absolutely crazy. I love it when he calls me it as it was a way he called me his. Luke had a thing for making sure people knew I was his girl.

"My grandma.." I look up at him. "Is out of town today. Your grandad has a doctor appointment, remember?" Luke says making me laugh softly at him. He clearly eavesdropped a little when he snuck in. "Fine. But just today." I say, pointing at him. As soon as I say that, he lets himself lay back down. His head returns to my chest and my hand returns to his hair.

"Bad influence." I say to joke with him. He chuckles softly and nods. We laid like this for a little while before deciding to actually go do something. Food was his favorite option while looking around the mall was mine. I told Julie I was skipping (which made her a little mad) and decided to invite the boys with us. Reggie said he was going to school with Flynn and was super excited to see her perform today in music class. Alex decided to tag along with us. Luke told him he could bring Willie if he wanted and Alex got way too excited. He kept talking about this being a double date.

We make our way to eat first, stopping at the first restaurant we saw. It was obviously pizza. Alex picks a table near the back and we sit down. Luke sits next to me, his hand never leaving mine. "Now or never might be my new favorite song. You guys were rocking." Willie says, nodding to Luke and Alex. The boys smile at each other. "That's one of my favorites too." I say, grinning softly at Luke. He smiles and kisses my forehead gently. We all talk before our food arrives. It was pretty good but I wasn't sure how these boys could eat so much pizza. We were finishing up when a guy walks over to our table. He pulls up a chair, causing us all to look at him.

"Hi, I'm Blake with Magnetic Radio and I think I recognize you guys from a pretty fast rising band? Julie, Y/n, and The Phantoms?" He asks, looking at all of us. I nod and smile at him. Ever since we started growing, more and more companies have asked to sign us.

"Now I understand you guys get a lot of offers, but I want you guys to at least come by my studio." Blake grabs a napkin. He writes his name, number, and the address of the studio. He stands up before leaning over to hand it to me. I look up at him and take it. Weird but okay. Luke was the closest to him. He smiles at me before walking away. Luke looks at me.

"I don't like him." Luke immediately says. Alex laughs and shakes his head. "Jealously is starting to become a trend for you." Alex says, using the word that Willie has taught him. Willie looks kind of proud when he hears him say it.

"We should at least tell Julie and Reggie. To get their opinions on it." I say, placing the napkin in my purse.
