Extinction Night (Call of Duty Ghosts)

The escape plan

We made it back safely to the hotel, still carrying the laptop with the real truth on why we are here.

"Oh man, when Charlie and Flow hear about this, they'll... they'll flip their shit". Kyle had a good point, they won't like to hear the news. Just as we got to the hotel, Charlie stepped out, "You guys took your time" Charlie could tell that no one looked happy. "What's with the laptop?" Flow asked, "You will find out very soon"said Kyle.

"Did you have any trouble?".

"We had a few roaming around, but no, nothing happened".

Jacob opened the laptop and showed everyone what was on it.

"Holy fucking shit!" Charlie yelled out load.

"Keep it down asshole!" Kyle shouted at Charlie, "What's the fucking point? We are not meant to go home you read what they put!" Flow joined the shouting. Everybody was at each others throats, the screams and shouting could be heard from miles away. The aliens would definitely hear us, "Shut your motherfucking mouths. for one motherfucking moment, for fuck sake!" Everyone went quiet, with the look of shock.

"Be quiet for just one fucking moment, and maybe we can think of a plan, to get the fuck out of here" everyone then realized that they were being stupid. "OK, lets just... sit down and think of a plan" said Kyle.

"They could be watching us. and we wouldn't even know" said Charlie, "Well, what choice do we have?" said Jacob. "Lets get to work" I said.

We need to find that chopper, somehow. But we all had to think carefully, if we lose one person this mission could go balls up real fast.

"We need to get back into town, but getting there won't be fucking easy." said Jock.

"We will have to work together, and we need everyone's help; no one can stay here any more" said Charlie. He had a very good point.

"How the fuck are we going to get there? look what happened last time. How the fuck didn't we die?" I said with my doubts.

Flow walked up to the window and searched around. She then thought of something. "We could give the fences another go." Said Flow. "Flows right, we could try to zap the fences again" I said.

"I saw a barrel just up the hill on a tripod thing, that looked like a trap as well." said Jock.

"We could use them all to slow them down; but just for a few... seconds" said Kyle.

"Every second will count" I said.

After an hour of discussions, we finally had a plan to get out of here. "OK, I'll turn the fence on as we start to run up the hill, and I'll follow behind. but If I fall; you don't stop running" said Jock.

"You will be fine, just get the fence on" said Kyle giving him a bit of encouragement.

Charlie looks out the window to check if the way out is clear. "It seems to be clear, now is the best time to leave".

"On my mark; three, two... one" said Kyle.

We all pushed through the door and bolted up the hill, while Jock turned the fence on. "I hear them coming, check the area and keep pushing up!" Yelled Charlie. I turned around to check on Jock, he managed to turn the fence on but wasn't following us. instead he was shooting at the creatures giving us a better chance to escape. "Jock! Come on!" I yelled. "Just go!" Jock yelled back. Jacob grabbed me and pulled me up the hill. "His death will not be in vain, he's risking is own life to save ours!"

We ran fast up the hill, as we got to the top I turned around one more time and saw Jock being ripped apart. "Light the barrel" said Flow to Charlie. "Keep going, I'll be right behind you" said Charlie.

We ran down the hill into the town, "Where was the chopper?" I yelled as we ran through the street.

"Incoming! twelve a clock!" Shouted Kyle. The creatures were running towards up, followed by another creature, a rhino creature. "Holy fuck! kill that thing!" Jacob yelled.

"No, we have no time, just run!" Flow yelled out.

"Guys! I can see the chopper! Follow me" Shouted Charlie. Thank god he made it.

While keeping back the alien creatures we followed Charlie. We came across a building that we needed to climb. "Kyle, Jacob keep those fuckers back. the rest of you over this wall; now!" said Charlie. One by one we got over the wall, Charlie sat on the wall helping Kyle and Jacob while me and Flow got over the wall. Now it was Kyle and Jacobs turn to climb over. "Here, take my hand" said Charlie to Jacob, as Jacob got over the wall Kyle stayed where he was. "Kyle, you fucking idiot get over this wall!" Kyle just kept shooting, Charlie had no choice but to leave him.

The rhino alien started to run towards Kyle" Kyle come on!" I yelled. "I'll see you soon buddy!" Kyle dropped his rifle and pulled a couple of grenades and ran towards for a petrel pump and the rhino creature got closer, I shoot at some of the aliens to help him get to the pump. It worked. Kyle reached the petrel pump just when his grenades went off taking the rhino and a few other aliens with him. The blast made me fall off the wall, "Get him up!" Charlie said to Flow. "Where is Kyle?" Flow asked as she was picking me up. "Didn't you see the explosion?" Flows face said it all.

We all ran towards the chopper that was sitting there waiting for us.

We quickly jumped on as Jacob was starting it up. "Get this thing in the air!" Charlie ordered. I got on the mini gun, killing every single alien I saw. "Fucking eat lead mother fuckers!". Charlie and Flow joined in shooting at the aliens.

The chopper lifted of the ground, and Jacob flew us away from the creatures. We all kept shooting at them making sure they didn't follow. "Wait, I remembered we needed to plant the nuke" I shouted.

"Fuck! Your right! Don't worry in time it will be destroyed, I'll see to it" said Charlie with the look on his face I knew he was serious about it.

Moments later we flew over a mounting and knew we made it. We all jumped around screaming in joy and hugging each other. Flow broke down and cried in happiness. We finally made it, well most of us. we lost a few great men but they did everything they could to help us escape, and they will indeed be missed.

"When we get back, I'm going to the ones who did this to us!" said Charlie with fire in his eyes. "No, I disagree Charlie. if we return they could kill us on the spot." I said "He's right, we can't risk it." said Flow.

"Alright; alright, for now we will lie low until we have prepared our revenge!"

"Yes, revenge on everyone"

"Agreed" we all said.

We were drunk on rage, to think of revenge on our brothers and sisters but at the time we didn't care because the things we had seen will forever haunt us. The only people we trusted was each other.
