Monatana's pov

I went upstairs to get dressed and so did my mom. I decided on light makeup and shorts, an orange crop top and some white converse and my "BOOM!" necaklace.

Once I was ready I went and checked on my mom. "You ready mom?" I asked. She grabbed her purse and we walked out to the car. "I'll drive." I told her. "You sure?"

"Yes mom." I laughed. We got to the doctor at 1:30 so we still had 15 minutes of wait time. My mom sat down in a chair and I went up to the desk. "May I help you?"

"Yes. I'm here with my mom Carol Strader and we had an appointment with Dr. Arnold."

"Yes. You're early. Take a seat and we will be with you in a moment." I said ok and walked over to my mom who was reading TIME magazine. I grabbed my phone and checked Twitter. Chris posted a picture of him and some people at school. I never knew he hung out with them. I looked at all the faces and a few were familiar but there was one that wasn't. It was a girl that had black hair and a nose peircing. What the heck?

She was leaning on him. I don't like this. She's too close. But I couldn't do anything about it. Because I had to take my mom to the doctor. But hey, i trust him. I think, no, I do.

"Carol Strader?" A nurse called out. Me and my mom got up and walked to her. "Follow me."

We went to the back and she took her temperature and checked her heart and everything seemed fine. So then we waited for the ctor to come in.

There was a knock on the door followed by a man peeking his head in. "Hello, I'm Dr. Arnold." He said walking in. "Hi." my mom said. "What seems to be the problem?"

"Well we went on a trip this past week and I started to get sick, but I was thinking that maybe it's just home sickness. But once we were home, it got worse so my daughter," she pointed to me, "called and made an appointment."

"I see, now are you still feeling sick?"

"I am, but it's much better than it was."

"Okay, what's wrong?'

"My stomach hurts and I've been vomiting and I have had a terrible migraine." She explained. I just sat back while they talked and then soon it was over. The doctor told my mom that it was probably some common a cold and he prescribed her some antibiotics so we picked them up and went home.

My mom laid down on the couch and walked in the kitchen to search for food. "Hun, I'm probably just going to be here all evening so if you want you can go out."

Did I mention I have the best mom ever?

"Are you sure you don't need me to take care of you?" I asked. She laughed. "I'm not helpless!"

"I know you aren't. Just wondering."

"I'm sure. Just go have fun." She smiled.

I walked upstairs and called Chris.

Hey, Chris!

Hi babe.

Do you wanna do something tonight?

Sure

Great! Pick me up in 10?

Ya

Bye

Bye

I ran to my closet to pick something out. I went with a light blue skirt, a white blouse and white vans. I left my hair down but made it look exceptional. Just then the doorbell rang and I ran downstairs to greet Chris at the door. As I opened it I had the biggest smile on my face.

"Hey babe." He hugged me tightly. I loved it when he did this. "So where do you wanna go?" He asked. I shrugged and said bye to my mom and we got in his truck.

"I don't really care, wherever you wanna go."

"Ok. How's your mom?"

"She's doing better. The doctor said he thinks its just a cold. So I don't know." I told him. He pulled into the parking lot to the park. "If you don't mind, we could just hang out around here?" He smiled. "Sure."

We walked over to the grass right in front of the pond and sat down. The quiet was unusually awkward and I had an idea.
