I woke up feeling like an idiot. I was looking forward to the question but at the same time I knew it wasn't gonna be coming anytime soon. I decided to call Bailey and ask her if she wanted to have a girls day and go to the mall with me. She agreed.

We met outside my front door and we both got in my car and drove off. "So." She said with a sigh.

"So."

"What did Chris ask you?" She stared put the window, obviously still in a bad mood from Crawford. "Nothing. He decided not to." I said. "Oh, I'm sorry." She said without a sense of care. We got to the mall and decided to eat before we shop. We chose Panda Express. Once we ordered our food we sat down at the little table outside of the restaurant and chatted until they called our ticket number. I went up to grab our food while Bailey stayed seated. When I came back she was talking to a boy with dark brown hair and brown eyes.

"Uh, here." I sat our food on the table and walked over to them.

Bailey looked at me and smiled. "I'm Montana." I shook his hand. "Brent." He introduced himself. "It was nice talking to you Brent." She giggled. "Same to you." He smirked and walked away. Bailey stuffed a little piece of paper in her pocket and we sat down.

"Who was that?" I asked stuffing noodles in my mouth.

"His name is Brent Rivera." She smiled. "I'm guessing you like him." I said giggling. "Yeah, we are going out tonight."

"Wait, you just met this guy and you are already going out with him?" I asked looking into her eyes. "Well, we met at school last week and we've been talking at school, but we just ran into each other and he gave me his number and asked me out." She explained.

"So you were talking to him before Crawford asked you out and while you guys were dating?"

"Not in that way. Until now."

I rolled my eyes and tried to forget about that. After we ate we went to a few different shops and I got some perfume and some lipgloss and Bailey got a new pair of high heels. On the way home I explained to her what Crawford told me. She didn't take it as based as I thought she would.

"Okay, so why are you just now telling me this?" She asked me. "Well, I was trying to find out when I should tell you."

"You know, you should have told me, before I said yes to Brent." She spat.

"Calm down. Just cancel your date."

"No. That's rude."

"I will just tell him that I'm not as interested as I thought, he'll understand, I'm sure."

"Okay. Whatever." I said.
