Pic of Drew to side.

Lenora's finger monotonously  pressed the forward button on the TV remote as she absent-mindededly stared at the screen that not even her favourite TV show 'How I met your mother'  caught her attention. The bowl of popcorn on the coffee table remained untouched.

Her mind was preoccupied with what Michael had said two days before.  An arranged fiancee, really?

Many thoughts swirled her mind. Will it work out?  What if her father comes to know about the truth?  And who will be the one with whom she needs to spent one month acting in front of her father.

Mike had promised to find a suitable one to fulfil the role. He obviously didn't want any one who knew about the Sanfords cause of fear that they will take advantage of the situation. He said he preferred someone who is plain and unknown to the business world.

She knew she wasn't ready to pull more drama to her life. But if it meant it will bring back her dad to her, his family and friends then she will go for it.

Her phone rang pulling her out of her thoughts. She groaned closing her eyes and leaned back on the couch hoping it wasn't from the art gallery. Her assistant Sarah has been repeatedly calling her for two days to know about her decisions about the art exhibition they are planning to conduct recently. But all she wished to do now was to curl into a ball under her covers far away from reality.

She sighed heavily and stretched her hands to reach for the phone at the other end of the coffee table without getting up. God she was lazy!

Once she saw the caller id she relaxed. This person was the one she needed right now to talk to.

"Heloo" she adressed while getting more comfortable on the couch by sitting cross-legged and pulling a silk covered cushion on to her lap.

"It is sharpened and ready. I am coming over tomorrow".

Lenora grinned at the words. No 'hello'  or other greetings. Just straight to the point.

"Hello to you too Mia. And may I know what is sharpened? You know I don't get your puzzle language easily" she teased her grin widening.

"My knife. What else? I am going to cut that dick head's dick off. How dare he? " Lenora's eyes widened. Mia knows.

" Who told you? " She wanted to tell her herself in order to clear her chest of all the pain by talking it aloud. And who else will be more suitable for her to open up than her favourite cousin?

" Hm.. Let's say Mike gave me a call earlier" Mia said cautiously not wanting Lenora to think that Mike was intruding.

"And before you go all hulk on him remember that he couldn't watch you sitting around all gloomy and sullen. "

"I am not angry at him Mia. I know he worries about me. But I am getting better and was planning to call you. I need someone to talk to." She was going crazy with everything around.

"You know I will always be there for you" Mia said softly. "And chopping his balls off will help you get better" Mia's voice turned cold and hard. Lenora knows her cousin well enough to say that she will do exactly what she said.

"I couldn't agree more. But it won't solve everything. And your knife will catch all sort of virus if it goes anywhere near him" Lenora grimaced but tried to calm down her raging cousin.

"I can come over there tomorrow Nora. We can talk, have tons of ice-cream and watch all those sappy romantic movies" that seemed like a perfect idea.
