"I don't think we took the right turn."

"And the Nobel prize for the greatest discovery goes to Miss. Sanford."

"Aah.. Shut up! Instead of mocking me, why don't you stop the car and ask someone the way to games centre?"

"Hm, may be because we are not in Narnia and trees don't freaking speak here, duh!"

That shut her up. She shrank back on the passenger seat and turned to look at the surroundings through the tinted window.

Trees. Trees and more Trees. That was the only thing she could see for the past two hours. She sighed and glanced at her watch. 11.00 am. They should have reached the game's centre by around ten, if they weren't lost in the freaking woods.

Their four hour journey to see Mia's game started at six in the morning and was smooth (that is if you don't consider their persistent bickering that can keep a new born baby awake for all twenty four hours) until they reached a crossroad and turned right.

"Why in the world did I even listen to your choice to turn right? " Drew said glaring at her from the corner of his eyes. Did places like this event exist nowadays?  Nothing but trees. Did they reach the Amazon forest or something?

"I said it because it says to turn right, here in this stupid map" Lenora said waving the folded map that came with the entrance pass from Mia, in front of her.

"Are you sure you didn't read the map upside down?"

She bit her lips, her forehead creasing as she unfolded the map on her lap. Her hands halted halfway. Read the map upside down? What did he think of her, huh?

"You arrogant dipstick! You think I am an idiot who can't read some freaking map properly. Then why don't you try it yourself?" She threw the map at him, hitting him on the side of his face. Caught off guard, his hold on the steering got momentarily loose, causing the car to stir sideways. At once Drew applied the brake to prevent the car from crashing into the trees but hauling them both forward in the process, their head would have smashed the dashboard, if not for the secured seat belts.

Lenora's eyes widened, her heart beat quickening as she breathed heavily.

"Are you trying to kill us!" She screamed at him, clutching her chest to calm her heart.

"Me! Trying to kill us? Obviously it is me! Because I am that stupid to throw something at a person who is driving." Drew said giving her a tight-lipped smile but soon replaced it with a glare. He sighed and slowly reversed the car into the swampy and gutter road.

She bit her lips to repress her urge to yell at him. Stop being a bitch Nora. You are the one who distracted him while driving and if he hadn't acted accordingly, then you two would be bleeding to death in this abandoned woods, for who knows how long.

She groaned heavily, clutching her forehead in her hands. Her head felt like exploding and her back was sore from the unchanged posture. She was going nuts seeing this endless woods. What if they got lost and have to stay here till someone rescues them.

"Sorry" she mumbled through her fingers, once Drew started to drive.

"What?" he asked amused at her change of mood. Wasn't she going to bit his head off a moment ago?
