Riptide's eyes dashed between the doorway and Tsunami. Tsunami shook her head, winced, then pointed to the floor beside her.
Riptide nodded and sat down to the spot she had pointed to just before the SeaWing queen marched into the cave. "TSUNAMI!! WHAT HAPPENED?! I'LL- Wait. What. Is. He. Doing. Here?" A furious look came upon her face. "GUARDS!" Ten guards came thumping in looking around. When Queen Coral pointed at him, three of the guards ran forward and pinned his talons, tail, and snout down and another two started putting chains on him.
"Mother!!-" Tsunami started, then got cut off by Coral.
"Don't worry dear. We'll have him locked up in no time. His execution will be soon. Maybe-
"MOTHER, STOP. HE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING." Tsunami jumped up, snarling at the guards. "You will let him go this instant!"
The guards looked between Coral and Tsunami. Queen Coral narrowed her eyes, then nodded. The guards unlocked his chains before stepping back.
Riptide collapsed into a deep bow in front of the Queen, "Thank you, Your Majesty. I promise I did not do anything to the Princess."
Queen Coral flicked her claw at him, and Riptide stood up. He was walking over to sit next to Tsunami, who was still standing, again when more dragons burst in.
