Amelia smiled and looked down at me.
'You're quite observant. I see the same thing, Titus and Tate are of equal level and they like to stay that way. Tyler and Theo however, they strive to be the top and that scares me, because in this family, it can become dangerous quite quickly.' That made me nervous, Tyler was pretty much the only good thing that's ever happened in my life, I honestly don't know how I would deal if something happened to him.
'They wouldn't hurt each other would they?'
'Well, unfortunately with both of their dispositions that's a grave possibility, Tyler works on animal instinct with intelligence coming from behind, Theo works the opposite, brains then instinct.' I bit my lip. 'Look at me, I don't mean to worry you dear, let's go back inside, this is enough talk for now, I'm hoping that maybe we can talk again, but a nicer conversation next time?' I nodded and she looped her arm with mine before walking back in. I scanned the room quickly for Tyler who was standing with a nervous looking Titus and Thaddeus who was talking to some other people. I've never seen Titus this nervous before, he's always got such a strong front.
'Mrs-'
'Amelia sweetheart, you can call me Amelia.' She said as we slowly walked around the ballroom towards the guys.
'Amelia, can I ask why Titus is so nervous? I've never seen him this anxious before, usually he broods around the house or is having quiet, almost happy conversations with Tate.' Amelia smiled sadly.
'Titus is the second born of my boys, Tate only a year younger but Titus has always strived to have Thad's approval and even though Thad gives it to him whole heartedly Titus is afraid.'
'Afraid?'
'I'm sure you've noticed that my husband and Titus look almost identical, many people have and they all comment on it. I think he just doesn't want to disappoint his dad.' I nodded and we left the conversation there as we reached the party of three. Tyler took my hand and I moulded against him happily.
'I would like to leave.' Tyler said as politely as possible, his mother and father looking a little disheartened but didn't stop smiling.
'Of course, you did very well to come for as long as you have.'
'I only staid because people kept taking Zach away from me, I can't go without him.' I smiled and tugged on his tie, yanking his head down to mine and I kissed him quickly.
'Let's go.' I smiled and he stood up straight and nodded his goodbyes to his family. I grinned as we walked up the stairs and towards our bedroom. Tyler pushed me against the door before we even got inside, hoisting me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist.
'Don't rip this shirt okay?' I laughed and he grunted with his face in my neck, I rolled my head back as he kissed my neck. I opened my eyes to see Theo walking down the hall looking at his phone.
He looked up at me and glared, I grinned and flipped him the finger before pulling Tyler to kiss me properly as he opened the door and stumbled inside before slamming the door and locking it. We woke up to the sunlight coming through the balcony door and I rolled over, spreading my hand across Tyler's chest until my arm was laying over him.
'Hello.' He whispered and I opened my eyes to see he was reading a book and I smiled. I loved that he never put books down, when he didn't know a word he would ask me what it was and what it meant. 'We should go down for breakfast, my mother has invited us to brunch with everyone.' He mumbled as he continued to read his book and I nodded as I sat up, the blanket pooling around my waist.
'You bit my tummy really hard last night.' I muttered as I looked at the new bite mark on the side of my stomach, a little bit of blood surrounding the teeth indents. Tyler put his book down and pulled me over so I was sitting on his lap and he inspected the bite mark.
