'Zach...' The tone of the person's voice made me forget about sleep and snapped me into a very serious mood. I pulled the phone away to see it was Sen's phone.
'Sen?'
'No. It's Harry.' He sounded like he was crying. 'Something happened, I need... can you please come down to the hospital?' I ran my hand up Tyler's chest and he stirred, looking up at me, worry quickly taking over his face.
'Yeah, we'll be down there as soon as possible, is everything okay?' He did that weird hiccup cough people do when they cry.
'He's been throwing up blood, I'm... I need someone who'll understand.' He said and I nodded.
'We'll be there soon, I'm sure it'll be okay.' I said and he ended the call.
'What's wrong?'
'We have to go to the hospital, that was Harry, Sen's sick.' I got off him and we got dressed quickly. Tyler driving me to the hospital. We walked in, he held my hand as we asked at the front desk and they showed us up to the room Sen was in, there were montiors and things attached to him, his chest was covered in bandages. Sen's mum was sitting by his side, Harry in the corner watching Sen like a crazy person, covered in blood.
'Hey.' I said with a small wave of my free hand. Harry's head snapped up and he walked over, engulfing me in a hug suddenly and I looked at Tyler who looked confused. I hugged him back gently but he let go quickly.
'Sorry, ah, thank you for coming. Um, I... Sorry for calling you out on the weekend... I know you're probably busy-'
'It's okay, we weren't that busy, and we would have come anyway, how are you? How is Sen?' He looked down at his feet and took a deep breath.
'Ah, cancer, basically they found it in the middle, they did surgery, the doctor said that they got it all but he has to have chemo therapy, he hasn't woken up yet. I just... I thought you would want to know, there are going to be rumours at school but I'm staying here.' I nodded.
'Baby, can you go get the spare clothes out of the car, I put them in the back.' Tyler nodded, kissing my head as he walked past and headed for the car. 'I thought I'd bring you some clothes, have you eaten? How are you?' He looked over his shoulder at Sen and then tore his gaze away when his face started to crumble and I grabbed his wrist pulling him out into the hall. He started crying and I hugged him.
'I'm sorry.' He cried and I smiled as I hugged him.
'It's okay, I'd be a mess if something like this happened to Tyler, and I know he'd be tearing up the place if I was in Sen's place.' He cleaned himself up, Tyler giving him the spare clothes and I stood with Tyler in the back of the room for a little longer. It started getting late and Tyler said it was time for us to go home. We said goodbye to Harry and Sen's mum before heading home. We went home to find cars out the front of the house and Tyler growled as we got out of the car, he held my hand tightly before we headed inside and stood in the doorway of the kitchen to see Marcus and Theo at the kitchen table with Titus and Tate.
'Hey, where were you guys?' Tate asked a little worried, he worried about the three of us like no tomorrow.
'The hospital, one of our friends got really sick.' I said clinging to Tyler, I really needed him by my side.
'I'm sorry to hear that.' Tate said looking a little sad.
'Tyler, we need to have a chat with you, business stuff.' Theo said standing up straight so he was the tallest one in the room.
'Can it wait?' Tyler asked squeezing my hand.
'Not really.'
'An hour, please, I need to be with Zach.' He said which surprised me because this was him passing over the head role to Theo. Theo stood there quietly and I squeezed Tyler's arm.
