Work It - Chapter 8

"You can have him tonight, but give me him tomorrow." He said with a big smile on his face. Y/n slightly giggled and nodded. "I will take good care of him!" she assured her friend. Jaemin smiled and made his way to the door again "Sleep well, goodnight." He said and waved. "You too." She said shyly.

Y/n put her warm covers over herself and Luffy again and quickly fell asleep. It was easier to do so when she knew that someone really cared for her.

*The next day*

(3rd person pov)

Yuta sat by the dining table with Taeyong, Yuta, Kun and Mark. They were discussing the recent events and what they should do about it. Sungchan was also called there, but he had work.

Yuta looked distressed as ever and his healing right arm was hurting like hell. Kun felt a little bit responsible, because he told Xiaojun to get Y/n and Jungwoo. If they had stayed, maybe the three men would attack when everyone was home, no one would have died that way.

Taeyong is a bit pissed since this all happned without anyone asking him for any advice. Taeyong is the leader for a reason and he knows what he's doing, even if he's crazy drunk.

"Now Seventeen and Bighit's on our ass. We also need to team up." Kun suggested. It was the smartest thing to do. It will hurt their pride as a notorious gang, but they need the power.

"Taeyong, shouldn't you ask if Suho wants to have business with us again?" Yuta asked. "Yeah, you were really good friends with some of them." Kun said. Taeyong was quiet. He had to think this through.

Taeyong was fidgeting with his pen and looked at the options.

He nodded and grabbed his phone. "Taemin and his crew also joined Exo after our contract ended." Taeyong explained. Taeyong, Mark, Ten and Lucas was in a contract with some members from the gangs Exo and Shinee.

Shinee and Exo became 1 gang after Taeyong, Mark, Ten and Lucas left. They also kept the name Exo and Suho is still their leader, even if Shinee had their own leader. It's similar to NCTs situation.

Taeyong called Suho and he immediately answer actually. They haven't talked to each other in years and Taeyong didn't expect much.

"Hello, old friend. Do you want a little reunion?" Taeyong said in the phone. That was how the two of them talked to each other.

They chatted for a while and the others got bored. "Can't you put on the speaker?" Mark asked. He got flat out ignored.

"Can you meet me and Lucas behind N.City in an hour?" Taeyong asked his friend.

He nodded and then ended the call.

Taeyong smiled and looked at his friends. "I'm going to talk to Lucas... I think we got the new gym equipment today... Would you guys take everyone to the warehouse to try it out?" It sounded more like a command than a question.

"Sure. But don't tell Lucas, he might get grumpy." Kun said. Lucas is a fan of new gym equipment.

The three men left Taeyong to gather the ones that were home.

Sungchan, Jeno, Jisung and Chenle was currently out, selling some guns. The rest of the gang was at home, eating lunch.

Y/n had given Luffy back to Jaemin as soon as she woke up a few hours ago.

Renjun, Ten and Haechan had actually teamed up to cook everyone an amazing meal to cheer them up. Lucas only got 1 bite before Taeyong called for him. "He may be my boss, but I deserve to eat a meal in peace!" He said before stomping away to his boss.
