LEILA, GAIELLE

I simply cannot believe it, it is woefully unacceptable. How could our planet, Gaielle, be threatened by such a funny one such as Eclipsalore? Gaielle is a planet of beauty, of respect, and of power. We use our infinite beauty to get what we want, we only seem to become even prettier than what our sacred ancestors used to look like, with skins with very light rose blush hues, that glow, and blonde, straight silky, shiny, soft hair, that is at shoulder length, and bright green eyes. Those silly Eclipsalorians stand no chance next to our beauty, and beauty alone. Their powers are all based upon trickery and control of those around them. They are awfully unbearable, but can divert your own power, and strength against you, which makes them hard competition for this year.

Every year, comes the month of 'The Annual War of The Planets'. This has been on for the past 89 years. There used to be 100 planets in our galaxy, now 89 of them are a ruin, abandoned, ended. With the month of the war every year, at least one planet has to fall, in order for the war to stop temporarily for that year.

We are quite small planets, much smaller than the planet Earth, I am not a Transport, I didn't come from Earth, but I am an Original. Both my parents, may they rest in the most peaceful peace, were Gaiellels. Now I am left with the Position of my mother, Queen Atheena, as Queen Leila of planet Gaielle.

It's quite funny, and completely stupid and idiotic, to choose a Transport to rule a planet that is supposed to participate, for the first time, in the war. Oh how awful would it be for such a powerful planet to fall so easily..

Before each war, many royal balls are held, in order to get to know who you will fight. The royal members get invited to one of the planets, a different one each time, so that we can 'collect peace before it falls lower than it already will' , according to my father's words. He was a wise king, and I was a curious little princess.

Today, a special invitation has been sent from the one planet I didn't ever want to hear of, on such an already terrible day.

It read,

Dearest Queen Gaielle,

The Queen Eclipsalore is most graciously and generously inviting you to attend the weekly Peacekeeping Ball, in which your highness will be able to meet the new Queen of Eclipsalore. Eclipsalore will be most honoured if your majesty has given your own time to walk through our beautiful gardens.

With all respect, and courtesies,

                                                  Eclipsalore.

If I could just not attend any of the balls..

My and every other planet's King or Queen's objective is to protect their planet. I want to do this more than anything, I was raised to do it, but I just do not like all the lies and deception of the Peacekeeping Balls, every single member of the party is fake, only trying to earn your sympathy just so you target other planets.

The servant in red, pink, and white robes, just like everything on Gaielle is, is standing, terrified of how I must look like. I force myself to unclench my fist, and to release the already crumpled invitation to the expensive, and rich gold and rose-gold tray that is shaking with the trembling of her hands. She is beautiful, but not as beautiful as I am, after all, she is in a lower position than I am, and that makes me the prettier option.

''Release the thank you letter.'' I force through gritted teeth.

She nods and stumbles out of my sight. I release a stressful sigh that lingers in the air before I remind myself the balls are only one day out of seven. Just one out of seven. I cannot skip them , even if I, a powerful Queen wished to. It will affect our reputation, and it will seem as we are facing fear, and that exactly cannot be done, under whatever costs. The picture that has to be planted in every other planet leader's mind is that we are powerful, and we will make it through this year without as much as a scratch, just like we did every other year for the past eight decades and nine years. Except for last year, when I had turned 17, and my parents King Arthurus, and Queen Atheena had their bodies burnt by the dragons of the planet Ogrean, ruled by a stupid King with decisions made upon emotions, and not logic. King Draco was never fit to rule Ogrean.

The Peacekeeping Ball will definitely be interesting this year. I wonder what tricks I can manage to get past on King Draco..

It would certainly be fun to pull some pranks on him. If only he hadn't had himself surrounded by small ugly dragons that complied every order he though of.

I stand up, from my throne, and my Sentinels yank themselves away from my way, and form a protective shield around me. They walk with me until I order them to let me be, and they comply without doubt. All of Gaielle knows exactly how I never say anything, or ask for anything, without having a reason. They also know how I never make a mistake. It is part of my ability, after all, with beauty and power, and grace, comes perfection in everything, and no mistakes are allowed to slither themselves into my life.

As I makes my way to the end of the corridor, I enter my room, and enjoy the little luxury of self-time I have, until I have to attend the ball that is held in six day. Six days, I think, only six days to get this all over. Then I groan when I remember that Eclipsalore's Peacekeeping Ball is only the first out of eleven.
