Unnecessary Spoken Thoughts

DRACO, ORGEAN

I hate nothing more than the fact that I am not allowed to bring Wallace with me to that stupid Peacekeeping Royal Ball. Oh sweet Wallace, the sweetest, strongest, and definitely the most terrifying and threatening creature to bring. Wallace is my Basilisk who is of a brilliant green colour, just like my eyes.

We all come from the same planet, I am Draco, of Orgean, a king of the mythical creatures planet. We all have jet black hair, with brilliant green eyes. Our skin hue is a bright white, glowing of course. No skins do not glow in our galaxy. I was a Transport, a few years ago I came from Earth, I remember being clueless, and not knowing what in the heavens my own name was. I remember being given many protocol, and many fundamental lessons. Goodness, I was so reckless. I did not manage to do anything remarkable until last year, in The Annual War of The Planets, where I took out both the king and queen of that silly 'planet of beauty', Gaielle, and left it with a mourning seventeen year old queen. I wonder how far can I push myself this year.

A little smirk places itself on my face as I remember the fury, and the almost ruin Gaielle was in last year. That is exactly why I would like to bring Wallace with me, as the Basilisk would be enough to scare the queen away from trying to win something over. The problem with Gaielle is that all the citizens are extremely beautiful, to the extent that they leave you unknowing of what you say. It has happened that our war structures, and war plans were spilled to Queen Gaielle, by my own soldiers! And I'm not willing to let such failure happen once more. The chair I sit on is my throne, a throne that is mine, and rightful to me only. And that throne will be on the last of the planets that have survived.

I am pleased I will be able to bring Draco Junior though, my little tiny fang-full dragon. If I order him to do so, he will bite through glowing skin and inject venom to take out the person I would like to take out. Everyone would expect me to do so, no matter how much it will mean breaking the sacred rule of not harassing any of the royal members, they still know how an earthian, as they call people from Earth, can do whatever they want to do if they are given such a high position.

I would never do that though, not ever, that is what no one knows, I just like to put on a threat. If I decide to do that, then it will not only mean that I'm stupid, but also means that my planet, all of Orgean will be banished, and destroyed because of treason, and treachery. And I'm not looking forward for any of the both.

As I strut the scaly hallway of my highly built castle, and highly guarded by my many dragons, and centaurs, I think of all the possible ways I could put an open, but gentle threat to the people who might cause trouble at the next Peacekeeping Ball, which is taking place at my palace, in about a week after the next few days.

The first Peacekeeping Ball held this year is of course, by the planet that had been hiding for many, many years, and had just decided to join the party. I know Eclipsalore almost by heart. I see the planet every single day when I wake up, the bright white planet, with sunset orange hues all around. I had thought all life on it was extinct, I had not thought they were growing themselves in the shadows, watching as war rages between the other poor planets. I hear that their Queen is a transport, the only other transport other than me, who has been given the position of royalty. It would be a lie saying I'm not in the tiniest bit enthusiastic about meeting her, she seems like someone who would understand my position. Maybe she is even nicer than all the others.

I make my way to the mail post in my gigantic house, and order the letter writer to prepare ten invitations to the Peacekeeping Ball to be sent after I am back from Eclipsalore.

''Right away Your Royal Highness.'' He bows and gets lost in the preparations.

I move out and move to the throne room where I rest. I heave out a frustrated breath when a guard enters the throne room as well, only Stone running after him, lightens up my mood. Just slightly. Stone, my young echidna, climbs up my leg, and rests on my lap as the guard starts to explain her unexpected appearance.

''Your Majesty,'' she starts with a low bow, '' We have received intelligence that there is a possible threat on the next Peacekeeping Ball that will be held in Eclipsalore-'' She starts but I cut her off.

''Shush,'' I demand, '' There is not a single problem with the next Ball, I can assure you that.''

''But sir-''

''What did I just say? I said 'shush, there is not a single problem with the next Ball, I can assure you that.' ''

'' But sir, you know the power of Eclipsalorians-'' I throw up a hand at the quick speaking figure,

''I know the power of Eclipsalorians, and I also know their Queen happens to be a Transport, and that means she had not yet managed to learn any tricks of hers. However, I am sure that she would not be as unwise as some guard I know who would doubt my power, and my authority.'' I add the last part quite harshly, with an open threat, seeing the unfortunate girl gulp.

''Move her out,'' I say, stroking Stone's soft hair.

''I am sure she would have made a better Queen than you were ever to your stupid pets.'' She spits.

I stop short, frozen, surprised at the very unwise, and stupid confession. The guards gasp too, well some of them do, and I stop stroking Stone's hair for a minute. Stone, who is hissing and brandishing her venomous fangs, and threatening to attack the dumb guard, was showing my own fury.

''She will survive!'' She shouts, as she is being dragged out of the throne room. I notice, very faintly, the tint of her skin. Very faint, very light, very much unnoticeable until now. An orange tint hugs her glowing figure. Like Eclipsalorians.
