ADIRA, ELCIPSALORE

All it takes is one glance at Eclipse, my supposed home. Not just is it breathtaking, but very much designed to make any person who passes through this realm feel home, feel welcomed.

The lessons, and protocol are very much confusing, and too much to bear. I can't even remember half the names of the planets we are supposed to invite over in a few days time. Let alone pronounce them. I have found out, by Davison that planets are those huge balls I have seen while I was on the transport that landed me here.

I am now almost at the 'science lab' as Davison has kindly put it, to 'catalyze' my belonging. None of my head guards explained what that meant. I guess I will just have to find out by myself then.

Just then, a big metal door is opened, and reveals a quite huge, and a quite literal, science lab. Many Eclipsalorians were rushing around, and swarming the newly discovered place, holding tubes of colourful liquids, and glowing ones too.

I follow my sentinels into the room, deeper, and that somehow makes me uneasy. I visibly tense as I am lead to a comfortable, but quite stiff bed that looks like the ones used in hospitals. I sit on it, very carefully, and glance around, making note of everything suspicious around me.

Worried glances from some workers..

Some trembling movements from time to time..

Often eye contact with fellow workers..

This is all very suspicious. And no one seems to even think of talking. It seems like they telepathically communicate.

''My Queen,'' Maximus starts, with his head down, in some sort of show of respect. ''Now that you have safely landed on Eclipsalore, there are still some things that need to be done, that will prove you one of us. We would be more than happy to be of your service, but of course we need to ensure your health is immune enough against all the diseases that are present here, in our realm.

'' You might also notice very minute changes in our appearances, such as how our skin tends to glow at all times, and that needs the Cataclipse injection, to make your highness just like us. Now since it can be rather gruesomely painful, we give you some drugs that make you go through a short nap until your body fully processes the injection.'' Maximus explains.

''Yes but is it not just an injection?'' I ask and Maximus nods almost immediately, ''Then why would it be painful?''

''Because the genetic material in your cells is ripped, completely destroyed, and then brought together again, only to be one hundred percent Eclipsalorian genetic material.''

I let out a gasp. How can he say something like that so very painfully bluntly?

''Now don't worry Your Majesty, everything will be ok, we will give you what will make everything very senseless, you will not feel a touch.'' He smiles respectively, and inclines his head as he calls for an employee with the name Carolle, and they all give me my space. They gave me water to drink, and to calm my nerves. I do everything they require me to do with very noticeable reluctance, and suspicion. All they managed to do was watch me drink the water, that tasted like honey, yet was very much pure, and it seemed to hit right before I dozed off that it wasn't water at all, but a drug.

* * *

As I start to stir in the bed I have seemed to rest on, I feel strange, I am still me, but I am not at the same time.

I slowly start to remember what had happened a few hours before. I had been drugged.

I wrench my eyes open, and I suck in a breath, not being able to process the state I seem to have fallen into.

I am laying on a huge soft bed, it is all white, nothing is coloured, the only thing that seems to make a stark contrast with the colour of the bed is the lanky body that seems to rest on it, that seems to glow

My skin, with a pigment warmer than ever, lays still, and reflects many rays of light that seem to be of a warm hue. I look at my hands, I pass them through the soft sheets of the bed, and feel the sheet. I am too distracted to actually feel it though, all I can register being how my skin glows, how it looks like a flame being held against the cloth of the comfortable bed.

I rub my eyes, thinking it all a dream, but it seems like it is not a dream, it feels so real, yet so fictional.

I notice that I am still in the dress that I was dressed in since many long hours ago of my arrival.

As I start descending off of my bed, I slowly start walking, marveling  at the way I must look. I look so very ravishing, so very regal, so very...Eclipsalorian
