ADIRA, ECLIPSALORE
I follow them off the transport, and into a huge, absolutely humongous castle.
''This is Eclipse, your castle, your majesty,'' Maximus explains ''this is where you will be living, with people keeping you safe at all times, and people helping you with your everyday needs and wants.'' He completes.
I nod as we make our way to the castle, then a short time later, we stop, right before the castle. The gates open, swiftly, pulled by two other guards, and then we are welcomed, by an even bigger garden, and an even prettier one, all with yellow, white, and orange hues. The garden is decorated finely with trees, outlining the garden, with white trunks, and branches, and all sorts of warm yellow and orange shades as leaves, and flowers. That's just the right side, on the left, a huge maze structure stands, with white leaves guarding whoever is stupid enough to wander there, and orange-yellow grass covering the ground in full area. It was infinitely breathtakingly beautiful.
Walking through the palace was an even more beautiful scenery. Everything was out of orange, yellow, and white. '' What is the deal with everything being in those three specific colours?'' I ask as I watch the many paintings of glowing people I have never seen before, and don't even know their names, all with warm golden orange and yellow tiaras and crowns, with beautiful gems of the same colours that litter the entire of Eclipsalore. They must've been former Kings and Queens for Eclipsalore.
''The colours orange, yellow, and white are our symbol, they are the natural colours of Eclipsalore, and the colours of our flags. The colours that stand for our civilisation, and they stand for you, Queen Eclipsalore.'' Maximum replies.
''Queen Eclipsalore?'' I turn to look at him '' I thought my name was Adira and Eclipsalore was the name of the 'planet'.'' I complete, then I add '' Did I confuse anything?'' while I probably look very much embarrassed, Maximus smiles and yet again for the hundredth time today explains another unknown thing to me.
''We honour our rulers by giving them the name of our planet, we consider it a noble thing to offer Kings and Queens. We honour your highness by calling you by the name of Queen Eclipsalore, we honour other Queens and Kings by calling them by the name of the planets. It is a great statement of respect. We call the King of Orgean, the planet of mythical and extinct creatures you may have heard of on Earth, King Orgean , rather than always calling him King Draco.'' He says as we walk through the castle that seems to never end, with endless turns and hallways, and rooms.
'' We must leave you here your majesty, as you will be ready to go through your official coronation, and we will be going through all political, behaivioural, and general information you must know as a great noble Queen.'' his voice is almost drowned out by the servants leading me away, and the huge doors closing after us.
I am stripped out of my cheap clothing, shaved, treated, and and thrown into a hot, almost boiling bathtub, with overwhelming flower and perfume smell, that smell so rich and grand. I am scrubbed with a very rough cleansing sponge, and then with a very soft one. I will be nobly honest, this is the weirdest feeling I have ever felt.
After they are sure I am squeaky clean, they wrap me in the towels softer than anything I have ever felt before, and dry me, and then wrap me in soft silk, so soft I can't even hold in my hand without it slipping through my grip.
As I dimly suspected, everything I get dressed into is out of yellow, orange, and white silks. The colours so vibrant and beautiful, that scream much of a Queen who demands attention and respect for her beauty. My hair is let down in soft waves, and the prettiest tiara I could ever imagine is secured right above my brow.
I request a few minutes to myself, and they scramble out of my sight the same moment they hear the kind request, without questioning anything.
I take a look in the mirror that stands tall and is in grand decorations.
The little girl, barely a woman stands tall, looking so exotic, and vibrant, and so much like a Queen. With fine makeup brushed all along my face. Painted on my eyelids, an orange colour that slowly fades to yellow in terrifying perfection, white eyeliner lines the outline of my eyes, and my lips, are the only thing that seem to contrast the whole look in offence , being so red, and so dark.
My dress is one of many layers of silk, one being the longest layer with orange that flows to my knees, then another layer of yellow silk, that flows up until my waist, then the last layer that flows up until my side shoulder straps, being in white. The white layer is glittered with red, orange, and yellow gemstones. The yellow one with red, orange, and diamonds. The orange one with red, yellow, and diamonds.
My shoes are both short heeled, made of diamonds. I am surprised as to how, such shoes, that will get dirty after my first walk through the gardens, are made of solid diamonds. It makes me feel like the Eclipsalorian type of Cinderella.
My hair, which is completely let down, but to the exception of the swirled crown of hair around the back of my head, has diamonds and rubies, all stuck to it.
In a nutshell, I look like worth a whole country.
I sigh, this isn't me. I don't know what is me, but I do know that I am not meant to be a Queen. I was meant to live with my parents whom I don't even remember, my parents who I don't even know how they would react if they found out that their daughter is a Queen. And that is when it hits me. Surely, for me to be a Queen, my parents, or at least one of them has to had been a ruler of Eclipsalore, so that means I really am home!
I will have to ask Maximus which one of these paintings were my parents'. I smile wildly, until another thought slithers it's way through my mind. A frown is set on my face as I thoroughly think about it..
If my parents really were Eclipsalorians, and they were former rulers of Eclipsalore, and I'm the rightful heir of my mother's throne, then why was I extracted from Earth?
A knock vibrates through the room and cuts off any further suspicions, I came here, to a world, a new world, one I know nothing of, and I am being welcomed as Queen of their world, and I trusted them, so easily, and so foolishly. I will have to build walls out of titanium, high enough, and strong enough so no one breaks through.
''Come in,'' I state lowly, and turn back to see a handsome smiling Davison.
''I was ordered to come see you, and check you were alright, your majesty,'' he starts off.
''I am fine, and I don't want anyone to check on me every three minutes.'' I state rather seriously, it takes Davison off-guard, and the poor man backs off, a frown tugging itself around the feature of his face. I don't want to seem suspicious, so I brush it off with an apology.
''I'm sorry, I'm just very stressed and confused, and I really wish I could understand anything out of everything that has been going on.'' I reply somehow honestly.
Davison shoots me a sympathetic smile, that makes me release a sigh. Good.
''It's alright, we have been very reckless too, we never got any Transports before, you are our first, we used to be all Originals, but we heard about other planets such as Mallema, Orgean, and Axesberg having most of the Transport.'' he says.
''I have so many questions right now.'' I state rather breathless, and he chuckles.
''I think you are the funniest-to-be-Queen we ever had.'' He tells me genuinely.
Nothing is said after that, and the only noise filling the silence is the constant tapping of my diamond heels against the tiled floor.
