The virus had consumed the world.
he knew that.
And it would be the last thing he would ever know. no more peaceful summer evenings, no more sunsets. no more people.
It was all over. he was the last survivor left. how ironic. it was his own meddling with creation, and his own rash impulsive brain.
Was he ever going to get over his guilt? was there ever going to be peace?
Yes. he supposed he was. it was going to happen.
