(Yes, this chapter was previously from the second book but I deleted the chapter of me explaining my old manipulative relationship because I wasn't comfortable having it public anymore but I didn't like that the book was at 199 so I decided to move this chapter to this book so it can be 200 again.)

WARNING: This chapter mentions killing an animal so if you cannot stand that, I suggest you just skip this chapter. (Only Muriel's, Valerius', and the Devil's don't mention the killing.)

Asra:

He will stalk his prey for a bit, trying to see the opening for an attack while being as quiet as possible. When Faust offered to be bait, Asra was quick to refuse. When you told him he can shoot it when it eats, he nod and used his magic to prepare a bow. He aimed it and held it for as long as he could, wishing to be certain the arrow will kill it immediately because he doesn't wish to make it suffer. When he released, the arrow went into the animal's head, instantly killing it. When you told him he did a good job, he forced a smile, not very happy about having had to kill an animal himself but he knew you three needed food quickly because the journey ahead is still very long and both of you haven't eaten in days so both felt as if you were starving to death.

Nadia:

She never went hunting before so she was curious as to how to do this. She knew it required a lot of patience and silence, so she was very patient and silent. She told you one thing very clearly, that you or she make a very clean, quick kill so the animal does not have to suffer. When you managed to do a clean hit, she was very happy it didn't have to suffer before she awkwardly told you she never skinned an animal so this will also be a new experience.

Julian:

He will excitedly tell you some strange dude in an alley once taught him how to make bait so you both made bait and then hid and waited. Once the animal came, you used your magic to form an arrow and shot it. He praised you for that excellent shot before he went to the animal, awkwardly asking who will skin it.

Muriel:

He has always hunted for his own food so hunting was a very normal thing for him. If you wish to come along, you can come along, as long as you are quiet and patient. Otherwise he will tell you to just stay home and wait for him to return. He will return with a big animal, food enough for days, telling you he will skin it and then you can cook it.

Portia:

The sneaking approach didn't work so she told you she has a new plan. She told you to have your weapon ready before she hurried away. She appeared behind the animal causing it to scatter before she yelled for you to try and take it down. She ran, keeping it from running away. This made it very hard to get a clean, quick shot, but you managed to do it so Portia cheered, proud that you managed to do it before she gave the animal upset eyes, apologizing to the animal that you had to kill it but otherwise you and her would have starved to death.

Lucio:

You were expecting him to whine about how boring this is and being impatient, but he was actually very patient and good at this. He just chuckled and asked if you forgot he lived in a tribe when he was younger, meaning he always had to go hunt for his food. He even taught you a few tips on how to attract an animal and kill it without making it suffer. He also skinned it, proudly telling you he was very good at skinning the animals before telling you that he will make you a blanket out of the fur. When you gave him a glare and told him not to joke about that, he went very serious and told you his mother taught him to never kill an animal for the fun of it and only when needed, and you both need the food and warmth of the fur right now so he isn't joking.

Valerius:

Hunt? For his dinner? Hah! No, absolutely not, he refuses. He will be complaining the whole time to you about how he, the consul, shouldn't have to hunt for his dinner and that servants should do that for him. When you promised him ten bottles of wine if he shuts up and lets you peacefully hunt, he huffed but kept his mouth closed.

Devil:

He just has to snap his fingers and a whole buffet appears. When you called him amazing, he just smirked, proud by the praise before telling you to dig in. When you gave him a glance as if to ask "is it safe? Did you poison it?", he chuckled and assured you it is perfectly safe and edible.
