The Arcana x Reader Scenarios {Book One} {FINISHED}

When they find you crying and saying negative things about yourself

I felt like writing some angst so here is some angst~

Asra:

He noticed you began wearing bigger clothes. He would sometimes ask you why you are wearing such big clothes, but one day you got enough of it so yelled in reply you wear such big clothes to hide your ugly figure because you don't want people to see how fat you are. All he could do was stare at you with upset eyes before tears formed in them when he saw a tear slide down your cheek. When you whispered you don't like your body, he was quick to pull you in a tight hug, whispering not to say such awful things about yourself because you are beautiful even if you can't see that. He pulled away so he could look you in the eyes, saying if you really don't like your own body this much, he will help you the best he can to get you the figure you want. He admitted that will be a tough path, but he will be here to comfort and help you the whole time.

Nadia:

She found you crying on the floor so she was quick on her knees, rubbing your arms, softly asking in a worried voice what's wrong. When you cried out you feel as if she hates you, she was quick to ask why you would possibly think this. When you said you are an awful monster who has done awful things so there is no way she could possibly love you, she shook her head, whispering everyone has done bad things they feel terrible about but she would never hate you for these things. She took your hands in a soft but comforting grip, assuring you she loves you and she will help you with anything, even the bad parts.

Julian:

He just let you rant, believing you just need to let it all out as you ranted with tears going down, stumbling over your own words as you cried out you are a fucking brat and you know he tries his best and you only treat him awful. When you finished, he wrapped his arms around, assuring you you don't treat him awful and he knows you also try your best. He pulled away so he could wipe your cheeks, whispering you aren't a brat and he loves you before he made a little joke, smiling when you chuckled at the joke.

Muriel:

He entered the hut to see you hugging Inanna, your face buried in her fur. He didn't think much of it at first, but when he heard you sniff, he crouched down, softly saying your name. When you didn't look up, he worriedly asked if you are okay. When you looked up and he saw the tears sliding down your face, he felt his heart break before he asked you what's wrong. When you said you are crazy, he gave you confused eyes so you admitted that you can feel the people staring because you are a weirdo who can perform some spells and people are scared of you because you are a freak, he shook his head, moving Inanna so he could hug you. He said people will always stare but that doesn't mean you are a freak or insane. He blushed as he admitted without you he wouldn't be the person he is today so you are a wonderful person who managed to make him a better person. When you didn't reply, he mumbled you two can be freaks together then, you couldn't help but chuckle before nodding, saying you don't mind it too much if it's the two of you.

Portia:

She found you sitting on the porch in the cold so she chuckled, asking why you are sitting in the cold. When you waved your hand to signal for her to go back inside, she frowned before putting her hand on your shoulder, pulling you a bit so you face her. When she saw the tears sliding down your face, she was quick to crouch down, asking what's wrong. When you cried out you don't like yourself anymore, she felt her heart break before she asked with a stutter why you would say this about yourself because you are a wonderful, hard-working person. When you cried out you don't even know who you are anymore because now all you do is learn spells and try to stop a weird humanoid goat, she wrapped her arms around you, whispering you are a wonderful person and stress is simply getting to you and you deserve a break. When you whispered you can't have a break because then the Devil will do something terrible, she knew it was true so she gave you a little smile, saying when this all is done, you both are going far away from Vesuvia and having a long, fun vacation. When you nod, she wiped your tears before chuckling, saying you both better go back inside before you catch a cold.

Lucio:

He found you laughing so he asked why you are laughing, very confused as tears formed in your eyes so he awkwardly mumbled he doesn't know whether you are crying or laughing. When you slid down the wall and just hugged your legs, he crouched down in front of you, softly stroking your hair to comfort you. When you whispered you are an idiot, he shook his head, saying you aren't. When you looked at him, mumbling you are doing an awful job at this whole saving the world thing, he wiped your tears away, assuring you you aren't and you are doing an excellent job, a better job than anyone else in this palace could do.

Valerius:

It was while you both were drunk, you began saying negative things about yourself, to which he declined, saying you are a wonderful, amazing, beautiful person who he is very happy to have as a lover. When you asked him if he hates you, he asked you if you didn't just hear him say he's happy to have you as a lover before he gave you a drunk little kiss, mumbling he loves you more than anyone else in this world so stop saying negative things about yourself because none of them are true.

Devil:

He felt unease so he was quick to get off his throne and storm to where you are. When you turned to him, shocked at your door slamming open so hard the handle was now stuck in the wall. He frowned at your tears, asking what you are doing. You tried to wipe them away in a hurry and say it's nothing, but he took your hands to stop you and asked why you are crying. He looked at your eyes as you stared at him before he got upset when new tears slid down your cheeks and you cried out all the negative things you were thinking. He started then asked which mortal fool put these thoughts in your mind then nuzzled your cheek, telling you not to think all these things because none of that is true. As you were calming down he casually added to tell him who did this and he will kill them.
