April 10th, 1912

Wanda stepped out of the car, as she stared at the ship ahead of her. It was no doubt, the grandest ship Wanda had ever seen, and that was saying a lot. "So what do you think, my love?" Her fiancée Ulysses asked her. Wanda tilted her head as she admired the ship.

"It's not that big." She lied. "You must be joking. The Titanic is the grandest ship in the world." Pietro added, as he helped his fiancée Christine out of the car. The Maximoff family was boarding the Titanic, in order to get to New York for Wanda and Pietro's joint wedding, and Wanda loathed it. Ever since their father died, the entire Maximoff family struggled financially, so Their mother, Magda decided the best thing to do was sell her daughter off to a rich family.

Wanda envied her brother and Christine, who were in love with each other. Christine came from Boston, and met Pietro when she and her family went on vacation in Sokovia. Her family had originally planned on selling Christine off to another man, so when they discovered their daughters secret affair with him, they disowned her, and now they were getting married.

Wanda was not in love with Ulysses, and she never was. He treated her like an object, and struck her when she didn't behave a certain way, but she had no choice, it was marriage, or poverty.

With the help of the Maximoff's maid, Natasha Romanoff, Wanda's mother stepped out of the car. "So this is the ship they deemed unsinkable?" She glared at the ship with pride. "It is unsinkable. God himself could not sink this ship." Ulysses beamed. All of the Maximoff's were ecstatic to be traveling on the titanic.

Except for Wanda.

And so, as the Maximoff family made their way through the cheering crowd of people, Wanda felt trapped, alone and depressed.
