The next day

"It's been me and my good friend Steven ever since my parents died when I was 16." James explained to Wanda as they strolled down the deck.
"Since I didn't have any other family of my own, I left and haven't been there ever since."
"I guess you could just call me a tumbleweed blowing in the wind." James finished as they both chuckled.
"Well, Wanda, we've been walking for about a mile around this boat deck and gushed over how amazing the weathers been, but I reckon that's not why you came to talk to me, is it?" He asked.
"Well, Mr Barnes-" She began to say.
"James." He corrected.
"James." She repeated.
"I wanted to thank you for what you did." She said finally.
"Not just for pulling me back, but for caring." She said.
"Your welcome." He smiled.
"Look, I know what you must be thinking, 'poor little rich girl, what does she know about misery.'" She mentioned.
"No." He began to say.
They both paused, as James looked at Wanda, studying her face and her reaction.
"Thats not what I was thinking. What I was thinking was what happened to this girl to make her think there was no other way?" He continued.
"Well, it was my everything, it was my whole life, and everyone in it. And the inertia of my life, plunging ahead and me, powerless to stop it." She held out her hand to show James her ring.
"Whoa, look at that thing." He marveled at the large rock.
"You would have gone straight to the bottom." He joked as he folded his arms.
"400 invitations have gone out. All Sokovian society will be there." She began to say.
"And all the while I feel as if i'm standing in the middle of a crowded room screaming at the top of my lungs, and no one even looks up." She cried.
"Are you in love with him?" He asked.
Of course he already knew the answer to that question.
There was no way she was in love with him, especially after the way he had heard her speak about him.
Wanda glared at James.
"Excuse me?"
"Do you love him?" He repeated the question.
"That is an extremely inappropriate question to ask, you shouldn't be asking me this."
Of course Wanda knew the answer as well.
"This is not a suitable question to be asking." She scoffed.
"Why can't you just answer the question?" He fired back.
Wanda laughed nervously and placed her hand on her head.
"This is absurd, you don't know me and I don't know you and we are not having this conversation." She finalized.
"You are rude and uncivilized and I am leaving now." James laughed at that.
"James, Mr. Barnes it has been a pleasure, I sought you out to thank you and I have thanked you and I am leaving now." She outstretched her hand to shake James's hand.
"And you've insulted me." He laughed.
"You deserved it." She declared.
"Right." He responded.
"Right she repeated.
Wanda began to leave before sudden realization.
"Wait, I don't have to leave, this is my part of the ship, you leave." She announced confidently.
James laughed.
"Well, well well, now whose being rude?" He questioned.
Wanda chuckled.
"What is this stupid thing you've been carrying around?" She pondered as she snatched his sketch book he had been holding the entire time they were walking.
They both sat down, as Wanda opened the book.

Okay thats all for today
