I smile without restraint while texting my official new favourite person on this planet; Yuna.
Even though half the day has passed, I still couldn't stop texting her. It's only been around seven days yet I can't get enough of her. She's funny, smart, interesting... Who wouldn't want to talk to her all day?
My phone gets an abrupt 'Ding!' noise. I check my phone to see a new message from Baekhyun.

B.81_B: hi
RAINI.RODRIGUEZ: hey
RAINI.RODRIGUEZ: what's up
B.81_B: nothing much. just missing you
RAINI.RODRIGUEZ: that's corny
B.81_B: sorry
B.81_B: wanna hang out?
RAINI.RODRIGUEZ: sure why not
B.81_B: do you want to meet up at the XXXX cafe?
RAINI.RODRIGUEZ: thats far away tho
B.81_B: i know but they released a new drink and i wanted to try it out
RAINI.RODIRGUEZ: aish fine
B.81_B: see you in...?
RAINI.RODRIGUEZ: 30 minutes
B.81_B: ok. see you soon!
A smile appears on my face. I really like hanging out with Baekhyun, he's really nice. And since he works with NCT, I can trust him. Why would he want to hurt me? He has no reason to do so.
I get up and am about to leave the house when I remember... I don't have my driver's license. I groan. I don't want to ask Jaehyun to drive me. He'll say no instantly. But, it's dark outside. All of the NCT members have gone to their houses, so it's just us two. I guess I have no other options.
I head to the only place I see Jaehyun these past few days; his office. "Oppa~," I say in a loving way as I gleefully glide into his office.
He lets out a big sigh. "What do you need?"
"Can you drive me somewhere? I'm meeting up a friend."
"It's 10 o'clock. I'm not letting you hang out with a 'friend.' Case closed." He says like my dad when I had my manga phase and was always asking for his credit card.
"Please. I'll do anything in return. Does aegyeo work for you?" I get on my knees in front of his desk and put my hands up like I was begging for money.
"No." He says flatly. "It's your brother's rule, not mine."
I'm about to leave in despair when I get a sudden idea. Not a good idea, but definitely an idea. "By the way, I saw a cockroach in my bedroom. Can you kill it?"
Jaehyun sighs and get's up while walking to my room with a bright pink Hello Killy slipper in his hand. I secretly fist bump into the air at my successful white lie that convinced him.
Jaehyun opens the door to my room. "Ok, where is it?" He asks.
I lead him to my window as I point at the wall near my bed. "Right there."
As Jaehyun slowly walks toward the "cockroach", I quietly head to my door where I call his name.
"Jaehyun!" I call as he turns his head at me.
"Sorry." I immediately lock the door and close it. I can get a brief glimpse of his face, which said "I'm going to kill you".
He starts banging on the door while shouting at me to unlock it. I don't think he realizes that the door can be unlocked from the inside. I have to act quickly before he realizes.
I head downstairs and grab his keys from the counter. I quickly rush out the front door and hop in his car. I start the engine.
Yes, it's true I don't have my driver's license. Don't worry, I never said that I don't have my driver's license in a different country. ;)
Even though it's been two months since the last time I drove a car, I prayed to the above as I started driving the car out of the NCT base. I get a quick shot of Jaehyun running out of the NCT base and looking at me with disbelief. I give him a mischievous wave as I drive slowly out of his sight.

I park my car on the side of the practically empty road as I search the dark streets of Korea for Baekhyun. I walk until I see a man with silver hair and a height of around 5'8. He spots me and starts waving frantically.
"It's definitely been longer than 30 minutes." He says as he ruffles my silky, black locks.
"Sorry. I had to go through a lot of trouble to get here." I say apologetically.
"Oh yeah, by the way, XXXX cafe already closed for the night. We can't get the drink." He pouts cutely.
"It's alright. We can go somewhere else. Have any place in mind?" I ask.
"We can go to this place which is perfect if you want to watch the stars. Follow me." Before I can respond properly he grabs my wrist and starts walking hastily.
"Woah. Loosen the grip, dude." I say jokingly, waiting for him to let go, but he doesn't. He continues speed-walking as my worries increase.
"Baekhyun, let go! Are you insane?" I say angrily but he just shushes me. At this point, I can tell something is extremely wrong.
My fight-or-flight instincts suddenly kick in. I don't know how, but I bit into Baekhyun's hand. And I mean it when I say I bit him hard. He shrieks in pain as he lets go of my wrist and looks at me, shocked.
"You've messed up now, Lee Sora." Baekyun laughs as I see a couple of masked people come out from the alleyway nearby. I don't think twice before running in the opposite direction.
"Chase after her!" I hear someone say as the masked men started running after me. I dash through the cars, stores and even people, trying to lose these weird people that were chasing me.
I turn into an alleyway which, of course, was a dead end. I pant aggressively as the masked men come behind me, trapping me with no place to run.
"Aish, I knew I should've done track in high school." I pant as the men, now around five of them, surround me.
'You're faster than you look, Sora." One of them says in a deep, husky voice.
"Did you just call me short?" I ask as they ignore my attempt to distract them with jokes.
One of them comes up to me with a cloth in his hand. "Stay still for me?"
"I don't really have a choice," I utter as he comes up behind me and puts the piece of cloth over my mouth, blocking my airways.
The corners of my eyes turn black as I drop on the cold, cobblestone floor.
