Can't get enough red at the Vaeilles'? HAHAHAHA, so am I.

“You’ve shown enough that you’re capable of.”

Within 72 months, I continued to prove myself because I had no choice; I had proven my strength, capabilities, and knowledge, as well as my worthiness as a Vaeille.

“Why am I living in this world as a Vaeille?” I wondered as a child. “Do my cousins suffer the same fate as me? If that's the case, being a Vaeille is a living nightmare.”

How callous are they to abandon their children in misery?

They allowed their children to be used in order to achieve their true desires, such as killing and torturing all creatures who dared to stand in their way. As I've approached the age of six, I've already felt the consequences that I've never felt before, as well as the torment in pain that my father has given me since the day we went somewhere and I didn't notice that he had changed how he treated me.

"Is this certain? It baffles me that this was manipulated."

The door slowly closed as I pondered my thoughts when I heard the conversation in the office. As time passed, he began to treat me as if I were not his daughter, whom he never had. He'll avoid me if I want to see him. Until one day, after all of my endeavours to prove myself in order to prevent him from hurting me and disappointing him, the time has come that I'm most afraid of. With my unwilling emotions, I showed my respect as a sign of accepting my first task as my brother's partner.

“Miss Vaeille and Sir Vaeille, please wait here in the office at your father’s command.”

I stood silently watching my father's secretary as she bowed a little longer to show respect for our presence as she left the office. This is the first time I've visited my father's office. As a direct consequence, I have the impression that many people have already shed blood and tears in this place.

"I'm sure Father would never summon one of us unless he wanted us to behead someone together."

Hearing his voice made me look at him quietly, but he was just sitting comfortably on the couch with his eyes closed. He felt my gaze, which caused him to open his left eye and speak incessantly.

"When you're in my way, I'll wrap it up by myself."

It was similar to another saying, 'I cannot and will never guarantee your safety.'

As my hatred rises more towards him, I move my gaze to prevent him feeling it. It was so quiet that it only made me feel my presence. When the door was opened, a familiar man approached us. My brother and I waited for my father’s presence, but his cold stare made our gazes turn on him.

"Please accept my apologies for failing to meet your expectations; your father has an unexpected matter that requires him to prepare as soon as possible."

It's nothing new for me to observe them in front of me. Stone, on the other hand, rose to his feet and approached the man. He grabs the man's folder without waiting for the man to say anything.

"This is your first task together; if you fail, your father will torture you, Trubel."

As he mentioned my name, the man gave me a cold look of contempt. I nod calmly to show him that I understand what he's saying.

At times like this, all the more so when he's here, when he gets things wrong, I'm the one who takes responsibility for his punishment. And I despised it until I grew familiar and comfortable with it, accepting that it was my responsibility as his sister.
