Greetings, readers!
"Where have you been?" Grandma asked immediately as she saw me walking inside in the living room.
I walked towards her and handed her the black envelope.
Her eyes moved a bit when she accepted the black envelope. She then stared at me with her indifferent emotion.
"As I made a deal with our agreement, I'll process it as soon as possible."
"When is that soon? I want to hear it from you."
"Give two or three days, hija."
"Two days." I stared at her for a moment and nodded as a sign of excusing myself. I need to get ready also for my personal matters.
When I walked through the stairs to go to my room, someone quickly grabbed me and I immediately held the hand tightly which resulted in it falling on the floor. To my surprise it was Chase—who was aching in his back as he tried to stand up. I moved a bit away from him and stared at him emotionless.
"Are you mad at me that I bossed you around days ago?" He asked with his serious tone.
"My apologies, I didn't know you're that slow and unaware."
He pierced his glaring eyes into my eye but here I am staring at him while raising an eyebrow. He sighed and grabbed me immediately. I just follow him to know what he's up to. But confusion had consumed me when we entered into their training basement room; Hale and Layn were already inside, waiting for our arrival. Chase then immediately loosened his grip into my arm then walked towards Hale.
I asked, "What's for this meeting?"
I looked around to find my other three cousins but Layn immediately spoke up as he noticed my manner.
"They're not here."
My strange gaze moved at them.
What are they up to?
"Chase, Layn and I discovered something that we can't really tell to Grandma." Hale started to open the topic.
"We're afraid that something bad will happen to you again. And they're after you, Truvianne." Chase explained.
I observed them while staring at the golden mask that they put on the table as well as the papers or something.
"Worried?" I asked nowhere while grabbing the golden mask and stared for it. "It's not the first time, Chase." I moved my gaze at him, staring at him coldly. "Should I be thankful for this nonsense? You heard me the other night, 'I don't need your fucking help', hmm?"
I stared at them for a moment and moved my gaze at the table where the papers are.
You're always late.
"We aim for the same result but have different methods." I smiled at him.
Without excusing myself, I walked away from them until I got outside in the basement room.

"I'm proud that you listen to me."
"I want you to torture them but since you know them...Here, use this gun to kill them." I walk closer to my Father and accept the gun. I held it tightly when I felt my hands trembling.
Where are you, Chase?! Shit!
"I want you to kill that boy who's wounded. I want him to rest first. Feels like he's hurt."

As I woke up tears had already streamed down my face. I gasped for air to breathe, it suffocated me. The past was too suffocating, I covered my mouth to prevent noises that would escape into my mouth. It's been years but it still haunts me.
