"Thank you Eleanor for the consultation. It has been favorable."

"Just say thanks you winged idiot."

Dean's handheld tightly in my grasp I rest my head against our entwined hands. My gaze settled on the breathing tube Dean's earned once again. He's not comatose but the doctors have kept him heavily sedated. Besides the broken ribs he's earned himself from Alistair the doctors ran scans to show a severe concussion. Due to the injuries he's been kept under for his body to heal without pain in the way. Admittedly it's harder looking at Dean this time around compared to when the Demons flipped the Impala. This time there are feelings attached- deeper feelings. Feelings that make me hurt and twist inside staring at his breathing tube.

Footsteps shifting in the dim hospital room I lift my gaze in time to see Sam leave the hospital room. Furrowing my brows I gently lower Dean's hand and follow after him. Slipping into the corridor watch Sam gesture back to Dean's room, fiercely commanding "Heal him."

Peering curiously past Sam I find it's Castiel who grimly stating "I can't."

"Miracle. Now."

"No."

Noticing Sam beginning to aggressively hype himself up from stress I hastily stride over to intervene "You and Uriel put him there because you couldn't keep a simple Devils Trap together-"

"I don't know what happened to the trap-"

"I do." Bug-eyed attention snapping to me, I calmly tell Sam with a nod over my shoulder "I've got this."

"El-"

"Sam please", I quietly breathe, making sure to keep my voice lower than what theirs had been a second ago. Sam reluctantly watching me for hesitation, I assure him "I'll only be a few minutes." Sam doesn't want to leave. Although under my calm unmoving stare he finally takes the disheartened walk back to Dean's hospital room.

"The trap shouldn't have broken", Castiel grimly addresses me "I am sorry."

"I know" I understand, tucking my hands into my pockets "I don't think it was your fault." Castiel slowly nodding, I confess "Not sure it was Alistair's either."
