"Nora quit it!"
"Quit what?"
"Katie, you're giving them too much!" Katie didn't care. Scooping anothe cup of the fertilizer granuels, Katie continues to turn over the soil of the pot currently growing a lemon tree that's almost exactly the size of her.
"Nora bugger off!" Katie giggles when I attempt to tackle the container from her. Holding it out of my reach, she makes her way over to the raised bed of carrots and garlic. "You're keeping me company remember?" Katie raises a perfectly accusing blonde eyebrow in my direction "If you want to help that desperately you can pass me the hose."
Shoving myself off the rusted junkyard car, I jog over to the hose. Gravel crunching under my sneaker. Bold grin on my face, I twist the faucete and turn the setting to 'shower'. She wants the hose, fine. Stalking over I offer it out to Katie who's tending to the spinich leaves. She reaches although upon noticing my smirk, she backs off "Don't you think about it Nora."
"Think about what?" I play dumb, following her slowly "I got you the hose. Like you said?" She bumps into another raised bed and I pull the leaver sharply. Gasping as the cold water hits her legs, I feign "What's wrong Katie? Come get the hose."
I pull the same trick and she turns at me with a huff "Nora quit it!"
"Quit what?"
"I'm serious Nora-"
"Serious bout what Katie?" I chase after her, Laughter barley letting me scream after her "Katie i can't hear you! Come closer!"
Hitting her with a short burst of water when she runs around me, she complains "You so can hear me Nora!"
"No I really can't!"
"Nora!" Dropping the hose I leap one of the beds and cut Katie off. Wrapping my arms around her I haul her into the air and spin her around. Both of us completly covered in muck but laughing harder then we every had. "Nora! Don't drop me!"
