"You want to kill me Zachy-Boy then get in the fucking line like everyone else!"
The door snaps closed behind me as abrupt as it was opened. Immediately, my gaze is scoping the rather uncomfortable handful of Angel's stood guarding the giant red door I don't doubt I need access to. Quite confused glances are shared between them. Trying to understand why and how I'm standing in this room. From the fleeting glances between myself and the fiery door, I suspect Ash- beautiful godsend Ash- landed me right on the door step.
"You" One of them decides to break the eerie uncertin silence "You don't belong here Alexander."
"Feathers, I've been receiving that feedback all morning." Noticing the way they adjust their hold on their angel blades I gain a firm grasp that they're not going to step aside for the sake of self preservation. I'm not shocked. Perhaps a little disappointed, but not surprised. There's no doubt in my mind that this has been their primary function for hundreds of years, gaurd the door. Yet here I am. Firmly in their path and violating that directive in all its holy glory.
Suddenly, the angel come at me and I step back. The angel blade searing past my head due to the narrow step back I take. Immediately, as I' ve done a thousand times before, I lock my hands around his wrist and roll his body heavily over my back. Slamming him on the floor I use his discombobulated momentum and drive the angel blade into his gut. His scream disappearing with the white light that erupts from his body. The mere second I lift my gaze from their fallen comrade they leap into action. One slams their fist on a button and the once bright space erupts into red light and wailing sirens.
Seem's like they just set me on the clock.
Yanking the blade from the angel's gut, I roll backwards over the floor. Rotating around the swing and angel takes at me I drive the blade up through his jaw and into his head. Blood oozes down my arm and sprays over my body but I maintain my speed. I stop, I'm dead- again. Tearing it out I boot the dropping body into another woman sending her crashing backwards. Giving me the delay between attacks to deflect another blade from a far smaller girl grab ahold of her hand. Tearing her towards me to bury the blade up through her ribs she shrieks so loud in my ear I flinch. Barely grabbing ahold of her blade before she leaves this plane of existance. Twirling the blades I size up the rather large angel in front of me. The angel I'd thrown into the body snarling behind him in a manner I'd have expected of a demon.
